So, now you care about limiting spending? Why didn't right wing Trumpists try to cut spending when they held political power?

Trump left a mess for Biden to clean up. Deferring maintenance costs more later on. Also, like it or not, this country needs immigrants to fill jobs already waiting for them. It can work if you guys will stop obstructing the only party that actually does something.

Yeah it is a real shame that Biden and the Democrats were unable to deal with every single issue America would benefit from improving, but since they were busy cleaning up another Republican economic meltdown, and attempted insurrection on day one, and slow rolling appointments, immigration once again got put on the back burner.

Our immigration system would have been far better off if they could have done everything, but the obstructionist GQP won't let it happen.

Repubclains don't want to fix our immigration system, they want to run on scaring their followers with it too much for that.

Honestly, I love the work ethic of Mexican migrants . I've had 2 roofs replaced in 5 years due to hail damage. I have a 12/12 pitch roof, and a lot of different angles, and these guys showed up at 6 am pulling shingles and had it all pulled and new tarp laid the first day in 102 degree heat. 2nd day, it was done. Not a nail to be found around the house, garden, etc. Nobody spoke English, but I know some Spanish. Their van was leaking coolant like a MF.... I told the lead crew member to give me his keys, and I'd have a look in my shop. Me and my dad found 2 sections of copper tubing that were rotted out and leaking badly. We cut out the bad sections, and fixed them up so they could get back to OKC before dark. Fed them some pizza, homemade salsa (prob not hot enough for them), loaded the shingles to the roof with my front end loader so they didn't have to carry them up a pack at a time on a ladder..... I could lift 15 packs per load. Some weed for them at the end of shift, and I felt like I made the best friends of my life. ... sometimes a language barrier is a great thing. It'd be harder than woodpecker lips to find harder working guys.

... but! We must keep in mind too that the Southern boarder is not just Mexicans crossing illegally.. it's Afghans, India (no threat there,.. thier food is awesome), Iranians, Pakistanis (again great food)... I just think every crosser should be fully vetted and done the right way..... just like any other Country in the World.
