If so what are you making? Planning for just my husband and I this year I bought a Butterball Turkey breast and planned to make a mixed vegetable side, some rolls and a cake.

Here's the recipe for the rolls I usually use:

But I was thinking about using this one:

Here's the veggie recipe I'm planning on using:

Substituting broccoli and a mix of sweet and russet potatoes. I love Chaat Masala and keep it in the cupboard and this looks good.

Instead of the usual pumpkin pie I'm considering making this for dessert, her frosting recipe is what caught my eye:

I'm pretty sure it will just be my Wife, daughter and I this year. So we will probably cook up all our favorites like usually and have left overs for a week :). I only buy turkey a couple times a year when its on sale, but its always a delicious treat. Lots of times we try something totally different with it, like one year we did it up with homemade BBQ sauce, another we did a homemade spicy honey mustard glaze, last year we injected it with a "Tony's" brand garlic herb marinade, all were delicious! Then again so are all the years we just do a classic butter rubbed roasted turkey with veggies.

We’re doing a traditional spread, I’m responsible for green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes.

For the sweet potatoes, I’m just gonna mash them with butter, brown sugar, salt, and pepper, and serve them with a little bowl of candied pecans to sprinkle on top.

Lobster and mussels steamed in white wine. We dont like turkey here.
Any particular recipe on those mussels? I think you may have just helped me with my Christmas Eve menu.

Reservations made at the cafe up the road. I'm ready!
Sweet, I did that with my son and his wife one year at Edwards. It was incredibly inexpensive and shockingly good. The best of all was just showing up and then leaving, no work.
