That's exactly the problem we all sit around and just take this shit while the government fucks us up the ass! The riot was just a joke; but man this shit pisses me off.
Your exactly right, one thing ive gained from being on RIU & around a bunch of younger folk is im growing my balls back again,i lost them for 20 years in search of the american dream, aka big house & lots of toys.

Im ashamed of myself & others my age, when i think back to the 60's & 70's we never would of stood still for 1/10th of the shit we take now, everybody is too busy with their quest for wealth & personal time that they forget our government is like a rabid dog & if not kept on a short leash will go beserk.

To hell with sittin back & chillin in secrecy like escaped convicts, speak the fuk out against this kind of shit to everybody you can.

your exactly right panhead I believe its going to be a pretty fast erosion of all civil rights when people start standing up to unconstitutional programs instituted by the corrupt government. i'm at a loss at what to do i certainly am not gonna roll over and let the government fuck my life up. but there needs to be a movement to prevent this and voting a corrupt politician into the oval office isn't the answer. bush wasn't voted in the first time he rigged the fucking election. Ron Paul is the only one that i know of that is telling the truth. i want to do something but what? when elections don't work and politicians refuse to follow the constitution whats left besides a real revolution just like the founding fathers did. all i can say is someone show me how to revolt and i'll be happy to do it.

Boycott the elections, but that's as realistic as getting a candidate to do all the things that they say there going to do if elected!

panhead- very much agreed..

A NAU would be bad for everyone imo.. its just the few greedy/powerful Americans running the country that want to expose Canada's natural resources and Mexico's cheap labour (sry to offend)..

1992.. NAFTA.. crippled our (canada's) ability to be self-sufficient as we now exploit our resources and sell em south of the border to be manufactured, marked up, and sold.. instead of growing/creating our own goods we are soo dependent on imports.. why?.. cause our economy is constructed to harvest resources and sell em to the states to fuel the machine..

It's all about money in the end.. America needs the global economy where they can prey on poorer nations and exploit their workers/resources because the economy of the US is failing.. this is simply one step closer to one unified global 'nation'/economy.. where only the most powerful will survive and the gap between rich and poor (i.e. ~15 nations and the rest of the world) will dramatically increase..

props to the government to say these ID cards are 'needed' for 'national security' as they continue to prey on the average citizens paranoia.. and look.. its working.. ask the average joe if these cards are worth it.. he/she will likely reply "if it keeps the terrorists out of America, than by all means, its a good idea"

just my 2 cents :peace:

Reminds me of what they say about busting then fleecing adult pot users/growers.

"Were helping keep kids safe"

Both are eaisly believed by foolish consumers.
