Yea, I'm pretty happy with my life right now. As of late last year, @ 26yrs of age, I finally became the man I've always wanted to be. We won't get into that story, but it was a long hard road for me before that. I'm living on easy street now, and loving every minute of it. It's also kind of hard to ever even consider being depressed when your always baked out of your gourd on some seriously dank nugs, and constantly tripping on shrooms like I am, lol. :weed: :peace:

lol, nice input! rep for participating. Yea I hear ya though.. Life, is definetly a learning experience.. I feel now that Im 25 I finally can see my mistakes and understand "the game" at a much higher level :) It takes a while to find yourself and understand your true motivations.

I feel the exact same way bro. I think most people don't truly find themselves until around their mid 20's. It took me 26 years to reach the point I'm at now, but now life is like an entirely new, and very positive experience for me! :peace:

im not happy.

i drink away my problems and and i dont even know what they are. im defiantly depressed. i have no drive or goal to achieve and no desire to make one

the only dream or fantasy i have is to move to cali and start growing legally, but that will never happen

i just had to drop all of my classes because my bag got stolen and i couldnt study for any thing. now im starting to wonder what the point of it all is. why will i ever need to know kramers rule or the genetic structure of cells or hor elemnt bind eachother? but ive been told since youth that i have to enure this kind of BS to get a real job. the american dream

dude, i feel ya too.. I know life can seem hopeless at times, but just remember.. quoted from tupac, " for every dark night, there is a bright day to follow"

I know life gets hard, and sometimes just confusing and stressful as fuck... And I know nothing I or anyone else says will change that.. Just know that life is always changing and new opportunities will continue to exist... and that you are not what your current situation dictates... or society.. and change is something that doesnt happen overnight, and alcohol will only worsen your situation.. believe me I know where ur coming from...I wish you the best my friend..

My favorite poem by Tupac: The Depths of Solitude

i exist in the depths of solitude
pondering my true goal
trying 2 find peace of mind
and still preserve my soul
constantly yearning 2 be accepted
and from all receive respect
never comprising but sometimes risky
and that is my only regret

a young heart with an old soul
how can there be peace
how can i be in the depths of solitude
when there r 2 inside of me
this duo within me causes
the perfect oppurtunity
2 learn and live twice as fast
as those who accept simplicity

thanks for your support

something about waking up in the hospital because you got your stomach pumped and then leaving the hospital to walk to the nearest packie store makes me feel like a true alcoholic

i know things get better, and i know you usually dig through shit before you find something good, its just taking too damn long and hating sobriety isnt helping me dig the shit aside faster....

I know its the opposite of what they would tell you in rehab.. but maybe you should smoke more and drink less.. Ive never been addicted to alcohol so I cant say that it would work, but I'm sure its a hell of alot better on your body.. I always feel like shit after I drink... I couldnt imagine feeling like that on a daily occurence.. I dunno what to say man, other than be strong.. your will power is the only thing thatll get you though the hard parts...:peace:

its the availability that keeps me from doing that. i could stand on my porch and throw a stone at a package store. but if i need weed its going to be a 2hr wait and ill get something like $10 for .8 of decent midgrades. its just easier to spend that ten on a bottle of vodka IMO

i actually said this to a doc this morning "i actually prefer my liver pickled"
