How far along are these ladies, if you don't mind my asking?
The big plant is a mother in her first day of flower, the most developed flower pics are day 29 and the flat canopy of 16 are at day 15 as of today. Chop is day 54 usually.

Updates on the mother, now into her 21st day of flowering under the pro gow 550 and a 250W 64k cfl as side lighting, she gets a 90' turn daily. The others I'll upload when lights come on....

9 cheese from seed about 5 weeks old and 1 week into 12/12. I suspect another 2 weeks of growth and stretch before I see true pistils, enough time for me to take a clone of each and secure my next mommy ho!

These guys are today at day 35 of flower..

Beautiful plants and setup. That LED is just a trip, love the patterns it throws out on the floor. Will keep an eye on this one. :peace:

Very nice plants NwI. I've heard some good things about Area 51 units. Does the led light hurt your eyes while working/feeding your ladies? I know I still need to get some shades for working around my hps, before it's to late.

I'm with you there Shaggn... I have to wear shades when I work in my room specifically if I am working under my 600w LED... I think pretty much all hps and LED are a little bright when directly under them

Welding goggles in general seem nice, or just a pair of sunglasses if that's more your style, but those don't seem to block everything (such as light coming in from the sides which can be annoying) and they can shift around on my head while I'm cocking my head at weird angles or whatever. I'd much prefer something with a strap. The goggles I linked are good for both UV and IR.

I wear my shades under all types of grow lights.

Htg has some uv glasses for $25 ( old school oakley razorblades style). I don't know how good they are. I rock my versaces. Tey work good. Im going grab some method 7 ones. They have a new model out for $99 that fits my big dome. Those are probably the best glasses for grow rooms.

Interesting. They're specifically built for HPS. I wonder what color you'll see under "Pink" LED's... as if it mattered, right? Purely out of curiosity.

I had a look at them online after I saw your post. Anyone who knows me will knows I would want one immediately. LOL. They're not cheap by any means. Do they put out much heat? ... Stupid question because it can run at 470w so it must have some, I imagine similar to T5.

I'm tempted, the low profile makes it an attractive option in my low height area. Gonna research and consider further. :peace:
Mine is the older 7 band at 420W to be specific, and in the 4x4 it will run at 78 all day, I add the 250W cfl for heat, LED needs an ambient temp of 84-85 to really benefit. I have done both and can see more vigorous growth under warmer conditions. others may disagree but it works for me. The 3x 250W in the 8x4 with a 220m/h 5in fan set at 45% pull keeps the tent at 84-85 all year.

No I am totally used to the light now and under no circumstances do I endorse that attitude, I can see my eyesight seeping away slowly...

I have been looking at the ProGrow series.
Is there anyone else using the ProGrow series lights.

I have also been checking out the Solar Flare 200w unit, uses 40 5w leds.
I like your grow and am sub'ed.

Thanks , its not so much a single grow as a perpetual thing, I do NOT endorse progrow products at all, the 550 is a decent panel but the service I had from them was completely horrendous and frankly you could go with so many other far better choices, area51, CLW, apache tech etc.

After the terrible service I promised myself anyone asking my opinion on them would hear exactly what I think, the product is decent, you could do worse but their after sales service is crap, pure crap.

Consider others.

Thanks I have been doing lots of research as of late and I like the 5w units of CLW.
My grow space is adjustable, cabinet is 2.5x4x6.5 feet, but I have it set up to have a 2.5x2.5 = 6.25 sqft, 2.5x3 = 7.5 sqft and the full cabinet at 2.5x4 sqft.
Looking at the literature I would think a SCROG at 24"x36" under the SS 400w would be a good choice, any comments?

I really like your grow. Keep us informed. Also post you nute schedule if you can. Thanks

I use a seaweed fertilizer that has a 10-08-12 NPK ratio and nothing else, no calmag issues, burning etc. People are easily taken in by nutrient products but after a bit of research you realise they are nothing but marketing hype. I would happily put the health of my girls against anyone and their regiment of bottles.

Keep it simple I say!
