I've looked at some and the most popular one at the moment is logitech c920 at $50+
50 is a bit more than I want to spend on something that is rarely used.

I picked up a cheap one off Amazon for around $12 but I get a much clearer pic when I use the camera on my phone.What kind of webcam do you folks use? I don't own one.

Yep, works just fine. Sometimes the internal camera on my phone is dark but I just flip it around and use the other.

Same had happened to me as well. TC is an extremely finicky/glitchy creature. Tried later and all was normal.
