At0msoft's, Moonhowler Protected Grow

Hello and thanks for stopping by. This is my first grow but it has gone extremely well. First off thanks to my long time friend Aeviaanah. He pretty much taught me all that I know on the subject as well as help me out with supplies for my grow. Thanks again brother.

I was originally going to do these purely outdoors but moved them indoors in an attempt to try something new. I let nature weed out the weak seeds. 3 out of 5 germinated and sprouted on their own outdoors (My hometown is in the valley and Ag central of California climate there is perfect).

The DeadHead came up first followed by the ATF about 4 days later and the Royal Kush about 6 days after the DeadHead.

As for soil I'm not exact on what type it was. My mom had it left over from her tomatoes she planted (from what I knew if it can grow a tomato it will grow cannabis). For nutes while vegging I was using Age Old Grow (organic) and DNF (synthetic). They took very well to this combo, probably just the awesomeness of Age Old. These pics are right after I did the first transplant.

I transplanted them into bigger pots and also used Fox Farms soil. Kept them outdoors for about another 2 weeks than moved them Indoor. Once indoor kept them vegging for another 2 or 3, can't remember, weeks to monitor the stress and if they would take nicely to it, which they did. Also transplanted to bigger pots once I moved to flowering. I used a combination of Fox Farms soil along with a lot of other things. I'll write the list out later and how much I used of each I have it written down somewhere. Also for nutes went all organic for flower. Using a Custom Earth Juice tea blend, I will also post this later gotta find the same sheet of paper lol.

Here they are after they have been in flower for a couple of weeks. These pics are about 10 days old. New pics coming later tonight.

Whats up man...seen your link on Aevs' thread........that ATF looks real nice......I've had a few mutants like that before.....If you don't mind me asking....where did you get the ATF??

VERY NICE!!!! you did those girls good bringing them indoors, that is not always an easy thing to do. but they sure love ya for it!!! they all look great, the more blades the happier the plant.... you sure got that covered!! if ya don't mind me asking, what size containers do you have them in?

are they all in flowering right now? or do you have veg area also?

what kind of lights are you using?

I'm sub'd and here's some rep for the pretty ladies!

I got them from a local collective. They gave me the ATF and the Royal kush cause I use to buy those a lot from them they gave me one of each. The DeadHead was also giving to me from a different collective for the same reason I was buying it all up cause it was cheap but potent. They gave me 2 but 1 failed to germinate. That ATF was my favorite from them and they haven't had it since so I got really lucky with that seed cause its the Pride of my pack at the moment.

I took a lot of care when taking them indoor. I think leaving them outdoor for a couple of weeks after the transplant helped a lot. Also let them veg a couple of weeks once indoor.Thank you very much! Yes they are all in flower. The ATF is in a 3.5 Gal. so is the Royal Kush. DeadHead and Blue Dream are in 5 Gal. I am thinking of transplanting the ATF and Royal but not sure if that would be to stressful while in flower? What's your opinion on that?

For flower they are under a 600 watt HPS have a 1000 watt just haven't put it in yet. Not sure if they need it they seem to be loving the 600.

As for vegging I don't have anything going yet. I am waiting for some Jedi Kush seeds to arrive then I am going to start the new batch should be here in about 2 weeks. I'm probably going to try a few of Aev's Bastard seeds also. I loved those strains when he grew them.

that was nice work on getting them in that way. transplanting now would be to stressful, but if they have finished their "flowering stretch" than the roots won't grow much more at all. but if they are still growing or root bound in any way, then yes, I would definitely transplant. if not, then you could leave them in, or change them out for practice if ya want.... but i wouldn't worry about the stress. what those tough girls have been through, that would be nothing for them!

a 600 and a 1K.... damn, you're big time!! can't wait to see the future. I also have a couple of Aev's bastard seeds, i haven't tried any yet either. I do have one of his Whiteberry + redwood kush x master kush growing right now.

Did you take any clones?? Would be nice to keep around if you like it....

On another note I have grown a few of those bastard strains....my favorite is bubba x mbs (bastard bubba).......i grew out a bunch of the other bastard crosses too and had some crazy phenos....one grew deep purple hues, very frosty, and had the funkiest aroma.....kind of like pickles and onions......some were sweet....try some out, they all were pretty hardy and easy to grow.......

hey i got a ton of bubba kush from seed pictures up on my thread...you outta check em out. i wasnt aware your grew so many bastard crosses. id like to see the pictures for reference! pickles and onions eh? crazy. was that from a bubba cross or what?

that mutant is awesome. never seen anything like that. wheres my clone? i am lacking a few plants for the indoor flood table...i started some purple urkle x [hh x jh x sl x hj], space madness, sicc, mendocino purp x mk and wbrk x mk

interesting, i wasnt aware anyone had grown that cross yet. which of the bastard line did you find you liked the best? you ever grow any of those bubba kushx trainwrecks? or just the trainwrecks themselves? i got one of those that sprouted.

I'll probably have to transplant them. I know the Royal Kush is still growing like wildfire. It was growing as much as half an inch over night last week. I wish I could take all the credit for the grow lights and setup. But a friend of mine and I went in on it together. Hence the other plants around mine in the pics. I'll check out your journal to see how that Wb+ RK+ MK is looking. Definitely give thoses Bastards a try. The Bastard Jack was a really great smoke.

Well I like pickles and my wife loves onions so will be germinating some of those in a couple weeks. LOL. No I didn't take any clones and I am beating myself up about it now that its to late. =(
So I'm debating if I should try and get some seeds out of it. Aev has some Convict Kush pollen might just cross them. Still debating it

cross those plants any chance you get. ill make sure you do it right without risking the garden. you pollinate the hash and cannabutter nugs anyway!

Sorry about the clone I didn't do any. I still can if you want and if you think it won't do any harm to them I'll still get it to you. I would really like to keep all of these going. Damn that urkle cross sounds nice. I know I am going to germinate the hh x jh x sl x hj im really looking forward to that one. Did you harvest yours yet?

sweet, i have a few bastard bubba's and a few bastard bubba x bastard jack. I wasn't sure on the potency but your the second person this week that said it was good. I'll start one of these next. probably the bubba x jack.

gettin ready to harvest the indica pheno tonight. the sativa pheno will start flushing this weekend.
what week are you in of flower? do you have nugs forming yet? if so i would go ahead and clone em. you will really regret it when its sittin ina jar.

Yeah If thats safe to do I'll do it cause these have some really good genetics to keep around. Hope I can do the Jedi seeds justice.

I highly suggest you clone and breed especially if you like the strain.......it's always harder to clone when flowering so take a few....all from the bottom.......minimal stress
