I apologize if this has been posted somewhere, I have scoured this forum and the rest of the internet trying to figure out how these two pieces fit together for assembly but I can't find the answer.

I found this video but they are using different reflector holders:

This page from kingbrite has images that show the 2300AN on top of the 2303CR (attached):

I have M3 screws for attaching the holder to my heatsink. Do I use the same screws to attach the plastic holder to the metal holder and just go through both at once as pictured on kingbrite's site, or should I attach the 2303CR to my heatsink, then use 2 more screws to fasten the 2300AN as suggested in the youtube installation video?

I installed mine incorrectly it looks like. But I don't see how this is making it so I can't turn the angelina reflector onto it? Cause even in the correct position, the heights are all the same, but my reflector keeps hitting the plastic Chip-Lok wire inlets. It's pissing me off so bad. I just ordered M3x12&14mm screws both, so I can give the adapter some room. Currently trying to use 8mm M3's and it's just too short. Presses the adapter in to far before it threads. I think that's my real problem. But where the side of the adapter near the screw hole is cut straight off, it almost seems that's the way they SHOULD BE installed? 14622938549821159601883.jpg 1462293895849983172200.jpg
