Attention All Members of Canadian Section

Along with the current sock puppet attacks and the all around fuckery some things need to change in this section:

Personal attacks are not and will not be tolerated, don't agree with something someone posts? There are ways to have a thoughtful dialogue without attacking and piling on.

Off topic posting will be deleted, if you want to have a more layed back posting environment head over to toke n talk where the rules are more relaxed and you can off topic post to your hearts content. Posts are to remain relevant to the thread title or they will be deleted.

Troll posts/replies to socks/off topic posts/attacks are out of hand and we are just going to start deleting whole threads instead of spending time deleting 3/4 of the posts that have nothing to do with the thread. Replies to socks, trolls, personal attacks are a waste of time because they are going to be deleted anyways. All replying to these does is give them what they want, ignore them and they will just go away.

Have a problem? Hit the report button, message a mod, use the ignore user function, act like an adult!

If you guys want this section to continue it is up to you to follow the rules. Although some people feel it is run by a handful of "rogue members" who frequent this section that is not the case and everybody already is and will be held to the same standard.

We don't care about the lp discussion in the sense that we don't care if you agree or disagree
That's never been the problem
The problem is the personal attacks that happen within those arguments

That's all we give a shit about

And It's against the rules of the forum

We are indifferent about the actual topic but care about the content
If that makes sense hopefully been a long week for me

We also hope the negitivty towards newcomers stop
I know seasoned memebers here have their friends and their fun but they should be welcoming to actual new memebers without hurting them

Well said Sunni. That and the million off topic posts on threads where all a guy wants is some lawyer advice... People don't want to have to wade through 99% of the posts when they have nothing to do with it. Just a reaffirmation of the rules that are already supposed to be followed.

@rocpilefsj I’m sure most members have no problem adhering to these rules. We are adults after all , but you must realize that in most cases these are not typical trolls. These people are paid by Canadian Licensed Producers to disrupt this forum and all other forms of social media with false info, pushing their poisoned products along the way. Their activity has increased over the last year here, and you can be sure there’s more to come as we move closer to July 1st.

Most times they are quite obvious, but some are slick and we need to rattle their cages at times to get them to show their true colours. We all love it here! We’re not deliberately trying to break any rules, or cause you more work. We’re just trying to protect innocent Canadian MMJ patients from corporate MMJ trolls who spread lies and disinformation.

We are getting screwed because we need an amnesty and a voice in the law that is being imposed on us. After legalization, we can organize compassion clubs and drive them out of business

A national organisation can be run using free forum software and a cheap sever account to link local chapters. Dry nutes in bulk made into liquid concentrate for members or organic options etc. National clone library by mail for medical patients, mailed medicine to others would be the central hubs job. Lobby for LP statues etc

Poster for doctors offices and hospital to cut out LPs. even go for the drug stores and pharmacist. Mostly volunteer older people with time and a new hobby, make the price zero for the poor and close to cost for everybody else who can afford. Doctors would like such a supportive group of people who care and so would the sick.

and we have to do it from the Canadian section of an American forum, which is why we are still being successful at bringing the message forward,
since the henchmen have shut down a lot of the other Canadian stuff on other forums
Probably best to just stay focused
Liabile laws in Canada are something else, strictest in the world, ya gotta be careful in Canada fur sure.

We can drive them out of business with in 2 years of legalization, if it's done right
