Attic grow room opinions needed

I’m reading other posts to try and connect the similarities of rooms being constructed. I’m nervous, excited and it’s been a long time coming to finishing the final touches of my plan to grow some quality bud. My grow room is above a garage. I have construction and electrical background and have completly remodeled this house and have been monitoring temperatures with an IR thermometer during different times of the year thru the last 4 ish years being concerned about utilities and not having siding on the house for over a year, as well as just now getting my attic insulation blown in to over r40 from r16. We have mild winters and I’d say it gets to 115 in the summers in the attic. I believe I can manage those temps. I have a 30x55 house with ridge vent 6 other attic vents and soffit vent all the way around. All of that was added after buying house.
So without going on for days, I’ve constructed a 9x6 room fully insulated with half inch sheeting on the outside 2x4 studs and inside has 1/4 inch sheeting that is the pegboard material without the holes. I’ll also cover and seal everything with a matte white vinyl product that I get from work, which is like 3 mils thick plus a paper liner wth a silicone layer in between to allow the vinyl to release . I’m not sure how porus that material really is but i believe it is water tight so I hope smell doesn’t permeate through it. I’ve actually just hung it up and taped it all closed to create a tent and grew in it during the spring. Now dimensions of the room are 4 foot high on the sides and just under 6 ft in the center. Open and clear there was no truss used in this house just collar ties and jacks. And we added the collar ties. So there’s about a foot and half section of ceiling that is at 6ft before it starts to follow roof line down to 4ft. I put a wall 3 ft in creating a 3x6 and a 6x6 space. I want to use the smaller for veg and clones and the bigger for flower.
Now there’s 2 600 watt hps, I plan to use in flower room for 12/12’s. To vent that I’d like to pull an 8 inch vent from my laundry room Over about 15ft in insulated ducting also burried in blown insulation to grow room filtered by a 8x24 charcoal with an 8inch 500 cfm in-line fan blowing into room. I’ve atttched the ducting through the flower room wall with 8inch take offs screwed to each other, one having a damper in it to control flow. Now getting to the veg room without leaking light is a touch of a challenge but if I can cut an opening for an intake near the floor in the flower room and cut an opening near the top in the veg room I can just use the wall as ducting and come off in the veg room with a take off and some ducting to bend around and completely illiminate any possibility of light leaking into flower room. I may put an in-line fan to help pull that through. It would be a 4 inch fan with four inch take off in veg room. There I have a 4 ft 8 bulb t5 and a 2ft 2 bulb t5. And im gonna eventually get an 6 inch fan pulling a vacuum on the whole grow room but for now I just have a 4 inch inline fan that I have the 4 inch filter for that will he pulling a small vacuum, I shouldn’t really need much of an exhaust till it starts getting hotter. It has a 6 inch take off with a damper in it to help control air flow.
For those of you that are creative and can imagine what this looks like please give me some critique. Bounce some questions off me so I can fill you in on the rest of the details. I don’t really have a pan for waste water. I’d really like to scrog but not sure how to do it with this setup. I’ve got 6 seeds, 2 of each pineapple haze, strawberry cough and blueberry. I’ve got fox farm nutes, some clone gel and a simple bottom misting cloner that I bought with a package deal. Not sure what size pots to use. My lights take up about a foot and half of space and so once I get a bucket or bag picked out I’ll probably only have about 4 ft of space to grow in for the flower room. The veg clone room is about 5 foot tall. I figured I can at least get some plants going or if worst comes to worst I can cure in this room and build another room for veg later. I know I can make this work. as for quality of product that will be determined by my hard work and dedication. It’s gonna be tough being stealth in the attic as it’s not easy to access. Fill me in on your thoughts as if this was your room you had to grow in. I’m trying to get some pot sizes picked out and get some coco to grow in before Christmas so I can get them germinating and hopefully have some seedlings by New Years. Thanks for taking the time to read my novella, party on

Those 600watt digital ballast hps are air cooled hoods as well. And I also have a 400 watt digital ballast with air cooled hood with mh and hps bulbs if I need to use them.

Its doable. Would have been much easier if ya dormered out the garage with 2 doghouse dormers.. You need to get a carbon filterin there.. It's going to take a mini split imo to keep the temps down and a dehumidifier to keep the moisture down.. HPS lights,Ballasts and that dehumidifier give off serious heat . id invest in leds.

Yes definitely led in the next few years. I am hoping 8 inch duct is big enough I will pull enough fresh air from inside the house and the laundry room has a register for hvac, would be nice if that worked out. I haven’t really done the math on light usuage per sqft. Maybe I don’t need both 600s on. I have a 1000watt enclosed hood with a magnetic ballast, or I can split between one 600 and one 400 both adjustable digital ballast. But I’ve got a month or so where I know I’ll be using the t5 setup for sure. I’m a shoot from the hip kinda guy that is trying to straighten up and be precise with my actions so I can learn from my mistakes and make proper adjustments. It’s just hard to start a habit

And yes I have the dehumidifier and one 8 inch by 24 inch carbon filter and one 4 inch 16 inch carbon filter as of now. I will look into another 8 inch one as well as a inline fan not just a booster (which I have one 8 inch one 6 inch and one 4 inch booster)

This has taken a lot longer than I was expecting. I finally got the veg room to 90 percent complete. I need to finish adding intake and exhaust ducting and getting the right chain for the lights to hang both the 2ft and 4ft t5 lights. Right now I’m just testing the room to make sure it holds temps. It’s 30 degrees out right now and I need to do a couple runs to make sure I’m not gonna fry and freeze anything. Slow and steady

That’s awsome bro. This project was a lot harder than I anticipated.

I’m doing coco and drain to waste. I’ll be getting a self watering bucket for watering during the day when I’m at work but I’m almost clueless on what I’m gonna do for the waste water. A pan and sump pump seems the only logical avenue but I need to keep each plants runoff separate so I can test it. Not sure how to approach this issue.
