Attitude Hacked Again? Looks Like It

Hello,
When you buy stuff online the data can be saved . I used to order with Amazon and when we tried new store our information was already known. Been around in the marketing business for a while now. It might not be from Attitude itself . Could be from somewhere else.

it is ABSOLUTELY from attitude. my riu email and my attitude email are at completely different domains. furthermore i have recieved fake emails from "riu" with bogus links on the WRONG FUCKING EMAIL. i haven't even fucking ordered from attitude in over a year. here is the email i recieved from "rollitup" last month at the WRONG FUCKING EMAIL:

just so we are clear i know attitude is the source because i've never used my attitude email for ANYTHING except ordering seeds, and now i'm getting bullshit seed spam and fake RIU letters. i haven't seen threads like this on other grow forums. it seems for now that only riu members have been targeted.

i hate to double post in 2 threads but the other thread is a billion pages long, and i happen to think this is important. i really do hope admin steps up to clear this up because it keeps getting weirder and weirder.
so apparently aweber is the site that handles our newsletters ever since the big breach of sept. '10. they are supposed to be so secure. (you might remember the thread from admin here Asked to Re-confirm)
so i want to know why when i view the full header of the "rollitup" newsletter that went to the WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS (my attitude only address), it mentions rollitup@aweber as the originating address. they should NOT have that fucking email! rollitup is somehow mixed up in this, whether they like it or not.
FURTHERMORE in the support section there are threads upon threads about new members being unable to register, claiming that the name "rollitup" is not available (even though that's not the name they picked) and the screen shots people are posting are powered by (you guessed it) aweber. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?
they keep getting generic responses from the mods in that section.

It's really simple. Run like hell. Far, far away from RIU. Too much hinki shit going on and too little explanation. Anything anyone has already uploaded or posted here is free domain now, as stated in the RIU terms of use, and as evidenced by the sale of your personal info to advertisers (attitude) via aweber marketing. Seriously, view the source code on the registration page. Your email and password for this forum are sent directly to a 3rd party marketing software through the same input fields as your RIU registration. Everyone should delete what info you can, and get off this site asap.

He is trying to save Attitudes reputation in spreading the rumor that "Attitude got hacked".Why do we need another thread on a subject that already has multiple pages of posts? Is two really better than one? Hell, you even reference the original in your post, so what the hell is this thread for? to discuss the other thread?lol
Which if course, is a rumor. Attitude sold our information plain and simple.

Nothing. This is a common advertising practice that we all have to live with. The only thing we can do to fight against these type of practices is talk with our money. In this case, stop doing business with Attitude seed bank.
Worse case scenario would be if you are already being investigated (with your knowledge or not) and they can add this to the evidence against you to prove you are growing.
