attitudes seeds were confiscated , police came to the house

I ordered seeds from attitude, the package came opened, taped with U.S. customs, the seeds were not there, the Tshirt was. Ten days lateer the police came to the house where it was sent. A undercover and a clothed officer. They knocked and said "they received a complaint about A MARIJUANA plant growing at the house and they must come check it out.". I said call my attorney as I shut the door, they left...

Its true, why would someone make that up? Just trying to warn people.

Its rare but it can happen which is why you never send seeds to a house where a grow will be..never.. Never use a real name to have shipped too always a bogus name doesnt matter just not a real one. Then never pay with a card in your name use prepaid or other options to pay. Now if you didnt follow these steps then yeah they might come knocking and if you acted like you did your now gonna be watched. Dont put anything in your trash as they dont need a warrant to look through it.

sure you dident tell anybody? see this kinda thing all the time on here and then we always find more out later that they opened there mouth to someone

I don't see how using a fake name really helps you out...

An order of seeds sent to your address can be explained away (prank?) just as plausibly as an order under a fake name. That "evidence" will not be part of anything to convict you.

If they want to start looking at an address... they look at the address. Then they find out who lives there anyway most likely.

Now, not sending the seeds to your grow house is certainly advisable.

The fake name is good, yes,they have the address already but in order to get a warrant, the cops usually have a compilation of things . The real name would be another addition to the compilation?

Although... one way I can potentially see a fake name helping out is simply avoiding your name getting put into a system by Customs (for example, if you receive a letter). If your name gets put into that system, it's then possibly for them to find out more addresses associated with you based on your name and stumble upon your actual operation somehow.

I guess that would depend on whether they obtain search warrants based on property locations or individuals. I'm ignorant about the law in that respect (thankfully).

I would assume warrants are based on address, which would make the name not matter.

I'm going with throwdo on this one. And I really don't mean to come off a dick but the cops have better things to do than creep on a singer and bust his balls for a couple of beans. Now if your dealing too I could believe it.

It is real weird for them to come based soley on the beans. Like he sed above if you are dealing or other illegal activity is going on, or possibly neighbors already suspect, then they may have had you red flagged, when they confiscated the beans, some one gave someone the heads up, and they popped in to see if they could fish for anything. Cops have a lot more to do then collar a little grow, unless there is more incentive, i.e. dealing, other drugs etc... Was it a huge order of beans? Which customs did it go through?

Nope - it was a very small order, Honestly this all happened, cops might have better things to do but today they came knocking and 10 days ago my package came with no beans and custom tape. <br>Second guessing is what we all do, especially me. lol. &nbsp; Im as stealthy as possible, nothing was going on at the address nor has been..All signs point to the order, but who really knows..?
