I’ve shot a few guns, the only auto I’ve shot was in Thailand but I’ve shot more then most I know. I used to have a 22, shotty and 3030 but hand back when I had kids.
Unless you’re chasing samba or pigs there not needed 22 is handy for fox’s.
Here the guns from the rifle range in Phuket

Before Port Arthur I used to take my .22 long rifle to school on some Fridays on the bus. Different bus to my mates farm and reverse trip on Monday.

Used to just sit next to my skate board in the corner of my room at home. Times have changed eh?

Deer is a target down here so they use something with range and stopping power. Can be a long day chasing a wounded deer I understand. They are to cute for me to have a shot at but I do like to eat the Shanks when offered.

Deer in the high country where I hunt no point doing to much range you will spend 3 hours dragging them out of the scrub. My Remington was a 788. Which is a 3030 without the lever action, slightly longer barrel makes it better for accuracy. Deer are introduced and I find the natives cuter don’t mind popping bambi when I get a chance (doing my bit for the environment lol)

Yeah, me too. Off the top of my head:

.22 auto pistol
.38 Webley
9mm Browning SLP
F1 SMG
Owen SMG
Silenced Sterling SMG
MP5
MP5K
M16
Minimi LSW
.303 SMLE
SLR (a small piece of matchstick in the right place can make it fire full-auto :hump:)
L2A1 (piece of crap)
BREN - Absolutely magnificent piece of kit
M60
FN MAG
AK47
M79
M203

Then there's:
Rifle-grenades (White Phos. is particularly pretty :o)
66mm SRAAW
84mm Carl Gustav SRAAW (it ain't nicknamed the "Charlie Guts-ache" for nothing!).

Sorry, I'm bored right now!!:(

I do so love a good pissing contest.....

High country in NSW and VIC is beautiful. Our Central plateau where most seem to go for deer isn't as dens bush, its fairly flat round the Great Lakes areas.

Postman came today with a taster of Cake and Chem and some beans (Thank you @Bongsmoke420)

Yeah, man. A "recoilless rifle" /AAW. You can watch You Tube video's of it, but none of them will do it justice. It's absolutely brutal & NOTHING compared to being within 50m of it when it's fired. Like being kicked in the guts by the entire universe in a single moment (hence its nickname).

The only thing I can compare it to would be a Motorhead gig in the UK in the early '80's ('been there, 'done that) but they lasted for a couple of hours & were a mere "tickle" by comparison to this fucker.

Satisfying to see a tank/target disappear at the other end, 'though......

@ruby fruit I bet you had the denim jacket with the Judas priest patch on the back! ?? Haha, Denim jackets with band patches was huge wasn't it?
Warning! Necro!

I wish Ruby was still around to appreciate this. 'Seen 'em all live multiple times.

Motorhead & Deep Purple signatures on the insides of the jackets don't show-up well in photo's, so I didn't bother posting bad quality pic's.

PS. I'm NOT Phil Collin (in case anyone's wondering....).

PPS. I did all the needlework & embroidery on the "Thin Lizzy" myself. They were fucking awesome live.
