You can do that if you like, but I only flower in that tent so I thought why not? I might add some more 4000K later.
Teknik said they were actually IP65 at the moment, but he wanted IP67 for the production version.

Woo, woo, slow your role.
First understand Gardening Efficiency before saying things like this too guys are trying to maximize Gardening efficiency.
But to answer your question, i would rate them high based on what i know about them, the tests & results I've seen, the fact they are made by growers for growers shows they to want to maximize their Garden efficiency.
Garden efficiency is everything in your garden running at optimal conditions basically. That can vary from one person to another based on their expectations or goals.
The data they share is very important . Especially after knowing how well they cover an area, minimize losses & spread out their diodes. Also a more efficient grow spectrum then a plain white. Allowing a lower umol/j fixture to possibly out yeild a higher one. They did this using UVA & broad reds in their whites. Doing This will give them a better bag appeal most likely & to me that is very important.
I've never held one nor used one so i cannot speak further but i do know that it all makes sense, they put in the effort to deliver top bin everything, a nice spread, allowing closer proximity & were the first to UVA a board with Optisolis. I only know of one company incorporating this uva white tech into a fancy Bar light last yr but cannot remember the name.
Naw man, these guys know wazup.
As do all of the main manufacturers.
Implementing everything costs allot.
I would have to grow with one to know.

those leds putted in the first scrog net should improve a loooooooooooot the ppfd of the global room, would be able to get some light where it was almost impossible to get before. should be amazing to try that, need those to try

Hey @Grow Lights Australia when are you guys gonna get the single heatsinks back in stock? Says they are on backorder and I'll be looking to put an order in here within the next couple weeks since I'll be flowering in a few weeks and I wanna get the lights before then.

Hi ZooWeeMaMa, we've just run out of single heatsinks and are hoping to restock in 2-3 weeks time. Unfortunately we are like everyone else as many products have stopped shipping out of Chine, first due to the Chinese New Year holiday, and then due to the coronavirus regulations. Many Chinese factories are still shut, but they are slowly starting to return to work. As soon as we get confirmation on an ETA, we will put it up on our website.
We still have some double heatsinks in stock if you are interested. Alternatively, our boards will fit a Slate 2 double heatsink from HLG, however you would need to redrill the mounting holes as our boards use a different pattern. Sorry, that is the best we can do at the moment.

Appreciate the alternative idea, I'm a fabricator by trade so I'll probably just buy the double and cut it in half with my bandsaw or something if things aren't restocked by then, don't want HLG getting the bucks if I'm gonna have to do a little work anyways. I'm pissed they started this big sale a week after I purchased veg lighting front them so fuck those bastards, lol.

So just to point out my reason for lack of updates on my High light Grows,
Had a massive seeding issue with my 2x4 scrog , been its hard to manage the low profile and the scrog was too dense really. I failed to spot it and it kind of fucked up the grow. Probably mostly go to oil or wax or something.
Its no reflection of the lighting, just unlucky with an untested strain that pollinated everything.
My massive amount of under and over and intra canopy ventilation served to keep mould away but worked against me with the herm issue.
Going to be running a strain I ran the first time run with the High lights called Winter Solstice so will post some pics when its actually worth doing. Its a fucking epic strain that I keep getting asked after from all those who tried it.
Its everything a grower could ask for, has all the sexy flavour, incredible frost and massive yield plus it seemed to finish in 8 weeks the first time I ran it under High Lights.
Its going get sexy!

hopefully I don't make some crazy mistakes, but here are my plants 9 days since flip/being under the high lights. all seem to be healthy and went 4/4 on females from what I can tell. my first run with regular seeds, but all have thrown out some pistils. these pics are of the 2x2.5ft tent that I posted a few pages back, but only three plants are in this tent now. moved the shortest one into a 2x2x4 under a timber 2vl, so not really sure if I can pull that one off with the limited height, but i'll see what happens. all plants are in organic soil and pretty much water only.
sorry for the rant in your thread, just really excited to see it all play out.

Beautiful plants mate. They look really healthy. And no signs of excessive stretch during veg. Which is what we've been saying all along: High Lights may have extra red and far red compared to CRI80 based strips and boards, but they balance that at the other end of the spectrum with added near-UV which counters shade-avoidance. In that respect the plants don't stretch any more than they would compared to other 3000K lights.

Got a question that I pretty much know the answer to but I figured I'd gather a couple other opinions first if I could. So I'm gonna be placing an order in the next week or so but don't know if I should get all UV red boards or just a mixture. From what I understand if you're already running added UV then you go with the high red boards and then if you're not you get the UV boards? Correct? Gonna be sticking 4 of whatever I end up choosing in my 5x5 with 2 of my 4000k boards to minimize stretching for first couple weeks then switch to all 6 of either high red or UV but I wanna get the best option for my situation. Little help please...?

Personally i like the uv boards, ive seen them grow really well and i think theres an added benefit of having the uv baked into your standard spectrum rather than having added monos.
One of the benefits of of 420-430 nm is that this is where the stomata is most responsive, it helps the plant transpire better.
For similar effects of real uv youd need 285 or 365 nm. To read up on it google uv stomata action spectrum for more info

Thanks for your input bud, as usual you're one of the best guys we have on this forum when it comes to helping fools like me out. Hopefully I can learn enough to where I'll be able to pay it forward one of these days. LED lighting is a new hobby of mine so it's only a matter of time before I'm full of it (knowledge, that is. Maybe a little shit as well, lol)
