UPDATE FROM CUPBOARD GROW IN SOIL.
Hello all. As im new in growing i will need a few helpful hints on how to go about this the right way. For a start, ive had these plants growing for about maybe 3 months, maybe 4.. Its a big healthy looking plant but abit 'Leggy' or as i like to say "Skimpy". This is because i had this plant growing under two 2foot GroLux fluro lights and from what i already knew wasn't good enough for vegging or flowering but i decided to give it a try anyway.
At about 1month into the process of 12/12 i clearly got the message that it was not going to flower. The plant looked sad and droopy. so i switched the lights back to 24/7. And its been like that for the last month or two. its a much healthier plant now. So i decided to buy a 250w HPS which my local hydro shop told me would be good for flowering. Here is a picture of the light![](/proxy.php?image=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rollitup.org%2Fattachments%2Fnewbie-central%2F1243523d1288599261t-cupboard-grow-soil-picture-025.jpg&hash=dd33b2bef8b8537b124019104d8ec3b9)
Today is the 4th day of 12/12. Ive stopped feeding neuts, ive put a fan in the cupboard which keeps it really cool.
Am i going the right way about this? Any info would really help!
These plants are roughly 4feet tall

AEROGARDEN pictures below about 3 months old. Ive really treated these ones like poo but they are still looking healthy. they nearly died twice but now i got them in good shape. Currently waiting on getting a new timer to put them on 12/12. Ive trimmed them down HEAPS. originally i topped all 4 of them but as they kept growing they got too bushy and big i had to keep trimming them down but i only trimmed the side branches because i dont know if you can top a plant twice.
In the pictures you can see that the res isnt on the actual aerogarden, this is because the plants are too tall maybe 2feet so i took it off and placed it on the ground because the tops where being burned by the light. Ive got an air stone in it to replace the water pump which wont work without the res sitting on the aerogarden
