Auto ak from seedsman

I'm ordering some auto ak seeds from seedsman I would like to know if anybody else had tried seedsman and are they reliable?im getting 4 auto aks for 24 plus shipping. I will be growing the aks 2 at a time.
This is my 1st grow with autos so I also would like some feedback on the setup I'm going to use? Please let me know if I need to had anything or change something to my setup.
Im going to grow the aks in 5 gallon buckets start to finish because I was told the bigger the pot the better and that transplanting is not good for autos. So my autos will be in 5 gallon buckets start to finish.
Next I am going to use fox farm ocean forest soil. I've heard only good things when using ff ocean for autos.is this true about ff??
next i was planing on running 2 150watt hps lights 24/7 until flower. Once flowering has started I was going to run the same lights on a 18/6? Is this a good light cycle for autos?
I don't plan on using nutes until week 4 because I was told ff has enough nutes to last for 3-4 weeks. I plan on using jacks classic 20-20-20. Should jacks classic 20-20-20 be a good source of nutes while using ff ocean?and my water will be ph between 6-7 haven't decided on a exect ph yet.
Also I have heard of people yielding 2-4 oz off a single plant?with my setup and the autos being in a 5 gallon bucket how much should I expect off of 2 plants.
and last it is a indoor closet grow. I have fans and the room is sealed off while the plants are sleeping.
If anybody would like to add anything please feel free because this is my first auto grow. Sorry this is so long but please help out. Thanks.

Hey man,

I haven't used seedsman. I have used original sensible seed company though and I got seeds in about 2-3 weeks. Just to be safe I would just go with something others have used.

So yes your 5 gallon buckets will be optimal. I use 3 gallon as they seem to fit better in a lot of places, I've never heard of your nutes, I use Advanced Nutrients Jungle juice and have had good experience with it. As for using Fox Farms Ocean Forest, it can be really hot for autos/seeds/seedlings. I would recommend using something a little less potent for a first grow. I use Fox Farms Happy Frog and I didn't have to use nutes for about 3 weeks. I have heard people switching from FFOF to FFHF and have no reduction in yield. If you are stuck on using FFOF I would plant the actually seed in seed starter mix inside the FFOF. Also, make sure to mix perlite with your soil, it helps drain well and the most important thing I can tell you is to not overwater. They survive droughts easy, but not floods.

And I don't plan on using nutes until week 4 or 5 because ff ocean forest has good nutes
Good to hear. I really don't know. I believe it is all the growers experience, but sometimes it is just plain luck. Make sure you are not locking out nutes and just let em grow and watch. They really don't need a lot of attention... they just keep growin! My estimate on my AKR's is 2 zips a piece, for a total of 4 zips. I really don't know how much I will end up with and it would be very difficult to gauge how much you will come up with. Get the seeds bought, germinate em and through em in the ground and sit back and watch. I researched so much before actually growing and now that I am growing I am glad I researched, but a big thing is just experience and watching and being with the plants. Make the connection to them and read them through their leaves and fix any issues you may have that come up and you will do good. For me, growing has been a lot of fun, not just about the yields, still, I am looking at more weed than I have ever seen in my life, lol.
