Stip thanks. Im doing another batch and am going to follow your instruction. but whats going on now with the yellow budding ones. .
the cal mag did nothing. they are dry planet material stretched and yellow.
this usually dosnt happen.
The new ones are still short and green. not stretching.
what i think maybe is wrong with bud batch is i left the lights on 24 for 2 months.
they stretched and got stressed. maybe?? but i am running HPS straight thru. DO YOU
SWITCH from MH to HPS when bud time?
and as far as flushing. how do you do that? ive been bringing bags to kitchen sink and give them alot alot of water. or room will be flooded. or do i water regular for a week or two?
thanks.
I do not run a tap into my medium, I fill a jug and gently tip water onto the medium. Sounds like if your plants are stretched and yellow that it could be a few different things...If its the bottom leaves it could be a lack of nitrogen. But it could also be nutrient lock out from your ph being too high. Certain nutrients are locked out if the ph is too high. Sounds like to me that you should start again...and even before you start again work out a proper nutrient schedule, part a and b grow and part a and b for bloom...they are your base nutrients, calmag, silica and also boosters...Buy a calendar and map out what you are doing to your plants, this way its much easier to work out what you are doing wrong. Get some normal seeds and not autos...there is much more room for mistakes with these and they are much more tolerant of nutrients. Remember all plants need three things- Water, food and light. Light is the most important factor, then water and wood. So plant your seeds, grow them until you see signs of sex(pistols hopefully, you should always buy feminised seeds) and when you see the hairs its time to flip her to 12/12. But make sure you always have NO light leaks and do NOT overwater your plants.
Try this-
Medium- coco coir, this is the shit...its ph neutral, has awesome draining abilities and is reusable. It also is very easy to adjust your ppm and ph, very easy.
Lights- You cannot have enough and it doesn't matter too much about spectrum at your stage.
Watering system- Do it by hand to start off with, at least for a grow or two. This way you can understand the tendencies of the behaviour of coco.
Nutrients and feeding- Start with a grow pack from brands that specialise in marijuana growing, like Advanced nutrients for instance. Go to your local hydro shop and ask them what you should feed and when and get the brands then order them online as grow shops are a complete rip off!
I feed everytime I water, but flush between veg and flower....when they are in heavy bloom and then 2 weeks before harvest.
Keep everything simple to start with until you get some nice healthy plants...You will not get good buds from unhealthy plants. I hope this helps, sorry to tell you to start again..but those plants look fucked and you have no room for failure with autos....
