auto cotyledons stuck in shell (autoflower timing issue)

my seed sprouted, but with the shell still attached (looked like a lollipop). It finally came off, but now its about 2 1/2 weeks old (from the day the seed was planted), and it only has its first set of true leaves (second set is visible). My question is, since this is an autoflower, and the first 2 weeks has been less than progressive, will my plant be much smaller when it goes into flowering?

Who knows.. It could suck, but then again I have had autos that completely surprised me. Let her go and see what happens. They have a different time schedule than photos.
If you plant a little deeper next time the husk should come off naturally. If it doesn't then i pull it off with tweezers.
