Auto-Flower Cage Match! (Revised)

K COOL. I should have time to finish what I got going

Not sure about the Super Auto's, I really don't want to wait another month or so for some to finish up. Perhaps a separate 'weight class' for the Super Auto's with their own start date, then we could enter a standard auto on the 10th if we wanted, and a Super on the 12th for example.

You know, I was thinking about that.
Also thinking about letting them start a month earlier.
But I'm afraid that we'd run into BS from late comers too.
I don't know, do they have rudes in the genes? if so, My vote is to try and include them somehow if not detrilental to the other contestants.
(for the good of the whole, sort of thing)
I'd like to see all comers. but hate to have folks turn away or start griping over 1 or 2 and making a targeted issue of it.

Essentially, I'm "on the fence" and need a push.

I feel the same, super autos, super yeilds. though I wouldnt mind entering one myself too.

Some funny news for you guys, my wife may be joining us with her own plant shairing the same light, Is that allowed? no I'm not taking the piss lol

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a live chat somewhere? Then we could have kind of a meeting and try to do this right (or better). Just my hick thoughts out loud - sorry.

You could just catergise them Auto's, Super Auto's and 12/12 non auto comps in one thread, though would be a lot of posts, pictures, contestants and dumby spitting!

I feel like that would make a huge mess.

I wasnt suggesting that, just to make it clear, Was just an idea to keep everyone happy.....for a bit. I rather it be for Normal Auto only

Its a shame you carn't lock the thread after a certain date so non entries/contestants couldnt add their random/off topic posts.

Anyway thats enough of me on the subject of rules and thoughts...I'm going to kick back, light a endo and enjoy you guys fight it out!

Fuckin' super autos... there are a few things we could do, we could start the Round Two thread sooner so that we get the word out earlier, and give people with super autos a different window to start compared to others who aren't growing supers.. or if anything, what about two catergories, reg auto and super auto, and and overall winner as well? Either way, we might not even get too many supers, so these are just ideas.

Also, I'd like to see if you guys want 12/12 from seed entrants, for comparison, but then again it wouldn't be a autoflower comp., more like a single light cycle comp...

I think we should just stick with auto's and stay away from the non-AF's @ 12/12. After all, it is an AF competition.

I am hosting a round two on another site and using the name AUTOFLOWER CAGE MATCH (since it is my idea), you guys might want to start your own match at round one with a different name. I made some name suggestions for you guys in a previous post.

Less confusion with Google and all that.

You could have them both going in one thread if you keep it organized, in the end you will judge all the super auto entries and have 1 winner and then you judge the regular autos and have a winner for that, so there will be 2 winners 2 categories, have a contenders list, put all the names under the right category Super Auto Contenders - Regular Auto Contenders, an maybe you can make a deadline for updates so it stays organized, so lets say you want everyone to do a picture update every 2 weeks, the first weeks picture update will be for all of the super auto contestants so they need to get there pics in by then, then the other week will be the picture updates for all the regular auto contestants, and make sure all the contenders get there pics in on time so it stays organized, this way you'll have all the super auto contenders pictures all in one nice page and the regular autos on another page it'll make judging alot easier, just a little idea for you!

Great idea MasterHemp! That would work, I just feel it would be difficult to keep it so systematic in a public forum, where some people don't exactly read the rules/outline. It would be great if we could though...

but yeah, we do need to figure out something because I've been PMed a couple times about these super autos and if they are okay, which they are, we just need to get everything straight.

Then why not just have a seperate thread altogether to keep it simple? Seems like the wise way to go to me. Unless something changes,, I'd be thinking of simplification after this round. Not complication.
