Auto Flower growing techniques

i know i can lst them but can i top of fim an autoflower ?

you can. You just want to do it before it starts to flower obviously. Being an autoflower or not shouldn't matter, it is whether the plant vegging or flowering at that point( or how soon they are going to go into flower). As in all cases you want to only top it up to a week before 12/12.

I'm growing 5 auto-flowering Jock Horror plants, all popped up female and I tried to LST them and ended up snapping one in half effectively topping the plant. All it did was slow the flowering process by about 2 weeks as compared with the other 4. It worked just like topping and now I have 2 main colas out of this plant and it just started flowering last week. In my opinion topping won't hurt auto-flowering plants one bit but LST is still probably the best given how little time you have to veg before they flower. (For me it was about 4 weeks.)
