This might be a stupid question but how wide do AF plants get? Going to have some seeds put away for if the feds bag Medical Marijuana and AF seems like the best bet.

Has anyone tried the auto-northern lights by G13? I have a few seeds and am about to start. I was wondering if anyone had any tips? My critical+ auto went hermie last grow and I can see how auto's have shittier genetics than photoperiods. Any help or advise would be great. Thanks guys.

nice one mate.iv just ordered world of seeds afghan ryder & pakistan ryder for my next grow anyone got any info on them:peace:
I did an AKR from W.O.S grow a little while back, good genetics IMO; excellent smoke but with my experience she's wasn't on the shorter end of the harvest period time frame so expect a 75+ day harvest.

I've grown short stuff's Mi5, still m favorite auto by them, their blue himilaya diesel and their onyx are all quality strains. russian rocket fuel and auto assassin are good smokes but ive yet to grow them. Dinafem Fruit automatic is my favorite dinafem auto( i got some of their 2nd grade haze auto's that were 2nd grade quality and sucked, but they were freebies so i ended up tossing them). Barney's farm Pineapple express autoflower was good too, but it was very slow growth but good yields. i want to grow g13's autoflowering pineapple express and compare the 2.

Sweet! An auto review thread! I ordered some Ganja Dwarf Lowryders from AMS, and they actually got delivered! How crazy is that? LOL. So far I've tried to germ 2, one was rotten and oozing green grossness after 2 days of sitting in a damp papertowel. I germed the second one is a glass of water. It cracked today and just planted it about an hour ago. Anybody have any experience with this strain?

Autos usually get trashed when mentioned so ya may not hear any long term auto growers say much.....but , autos are my favored grow now for over 5 years...there's some shitty genetics out there but if ya stay with KNOWN breeders, you too will be impressed. The WOS Paki Ryder is some dank stank IMO...WOS has some great genetics in their lines...including autos....
Like the LowLifes, Lowryders, Sweet Seeds, Flash, Mossy & Buddha autos among a few others but get'em from a source who turns their stock over....get ya some regs of a couple of good strains and make ya own seeds.....
Personally, I keep a perpetual harvest going out of a small tent & 400w cooltube...not a prob seed to harvest in 65-75 days...dry and cure...smoking dope in as little as 3 months...I rotate so I harvest a couple or 3 autos every week....pretty easy to get 1.5 ounces each....out of 2 ltr pots....

Yea you will get rootbound quicker under a 600w under 24/24 since most autos grow better without a night cycle. The auto's ive grown indoors seem to find 3 gallon pots perfect for root mass, Mi5 from Short stuff got rootbound in a 3g and i moved it up to a 5g and it got rootbound again. but you need a healthy plant to get that, maybe i got lucky. the plant only lived 90 days from seed tops.

Yes, I get 1 -2 oz out of a 2 ltr pot...just plain 2 ltr square...nothing special....pay no attention to rootbound...ever....yes I get stunts and runts but those are seldom....having grown bonzai for 45 years has taught me a thing of two....I've not found any reason to increase my pot size....happy with what and how I do it...since I only grow for my GF and myself and to share with a few friends, I have no complaints....I use T5HO 24/0 for 4-5 weeks and finish under 400w hps of enviromentally controlled space....usually under 18/6....have used 24/0 cause I have never been convinced the little bud factories of autos need any rest....

I have a Barney's Farm pineapple chunk auto that is a month and 5 days old. Around week 3 I had a nutrient prob and some of her leaves got burned, but she is growing great, starting to fill out and starting to get stankier and stankier! She is about a foot tall, I cant wait to harvest. I was using three 42 watt cfl's and just got my 150 watt The link to my journal is at the bottom(says easy ryder but I fucked her up around week 2 :/), please feel free to give me any comment, opinions!!

Ive ran a quite a few autos and have been honing down my process. I now run 5 gallon pots with super soil. The super soil has made everything just fantastic. I used to grow autos in a fox farm mix of ocean forest and happy frog. I was having a rough time with it and had a few lame crops from dealing with liquid nutes (it just wasnt my thing). Starting off in the super soil allows you to minimize the risk of stressing your plants since there is such a limited life span. Of course the pot it self is filled about 30% Roots on top of 70% Super soil. Pending on your space i usually always pick my auto strains by yield being estimated 28-45 g and a 8 week cycle. The best auto ive grown so far had to be Jet 47 pulled 40 grams off of one plant and 35 off of another one. I would say training the plants is the only way to go for autos and start doing it early. I currently am running a pineapple express right now under a scrog screen and it is the biggest auto ive had so far all of the undergrowth has filled the screen along with a few others.
