So how is everyone determining when to harvesting their auto's ? ? ?

I was reading that unlike photos , autos trichomes dont always go amber reliablely . many seem to harvest by looking at the fan's yellowing .

Some strains/lines are said to not go amber more than others , anyone have any insight into which ones

if you give them long enough they will amber most just arent amber at ideal chop time ( and actually amber after the chop )
you have to find a balance between flavor which diminishes, the older the plant gets 12+ weeks
and potency which starts to peak in the 10-11 week range ,but just seems to get better when given more time
when the fans yellow give it 2 weeks is pretty much what i do
some go by the look of the bud and usually when the 3rd push of pistils browns they stay brown and very few actually come back in to replace them, so around 75% brown pistils is when some chop
its all about the same honestly 10+ weeks and judge from there

With the addition of haze genetics into auto's it's hard to
say, I wait 'till I see 30% amber on the top it still depends
on the strain just like photoperiod plants.
EYE MIND SPIRIT should tell.

i usually go by the bud when i get 70% brown pistils w/no new flowers for a few days.. some i'll go by all cloudy.... most of the time i harvest in stages no matter what indicators i use..... of course that's if i'm not running low on bud... if i'm running outa bud; if there's frost on the infield i'm play'n ball!!!
