got a 40x loupe an with the help of the zoom on me blackberry mobile an below are the outcome pics of my first trichomes checks.

feedback from knowledgeable growing eyes welcome, from checking threads about trichomes

an harvesting in general i think leftys trichs are all milky but unsure due to first trich check ect....



































umm... so... would you say milky trichomes?
they getting a water only feed tomorrow so thats 3rd water feed in a row.

Idk.......Nobody around me goes by trichomes......we go by pistils......when they turn brown harvest.....simple as that.

amusing but instead i got a loupe x40 off ebay for £4 now i can check them the right way an no risk chopping to early..

Week 14

leftys getting closer to chopping time as a few amber trichs can be seem in various

parts of leftys many different bud sites.im sure lefty will eb ready by end the end of

week.

mixture of both plant buds. think ur tell the difference cause im not rearraging them

all is lefty an rioght order. due to me painkillers not working.

Definitely close to being ready. You can see a bit of amber trichs. Now its just a matter of how mature you want the plant to be. A plant with more amber trichomes will have a heavier body buzzing sort of high. As opposed to a plant with less amber trichs and more cloudy ones where it will be for of an energetic uppy feeling high.

im aiming to chop lefty by the end of the week, since i think there will be plenty more amber trichs (fingers crossed) on show. then i have a few weeks until the second ones ready to think about type of buzz im aiming for.

week 15

leftys milky with amber trichs popping up all over but as ive been tired all week its hard to focus for trich close ups this week. now im undecided about starting to slowly harvest her tomorrow due to the sooner her top an main buds are chopped the quicker her lower an popcorn buds can get a little more light before they go under the chopping borad.

rights actually caught up in size as shes now the same height as lefty. so shes getting along well with some pretty nice thick fat buds just hanging around looking nice.

i few days ina row now ive also noticed theres a slight hint of either citric smell or some other sweet fruity aroma wandering off lefty so thats a positive as i doubt im going to wait until shes more 50 amber/50 milky trichs. i no all of the trichs are milky now as i been peeking at different locations on all top an high bugs as i see no clear trichs anywhere. so chops ont he cards just deciding today or tomorrow to begin chop trim an hanging.

another perk is since the heat fromt he growing rooms nice an warn enough i can just hand the chopped lefty branches from some string in the grow room to help her first harvest to dry out quicker.

wish i only did the single plant now as things are tough since me banks been screwing me around for the past 3 months so growing on a struggling income budget is becoming hard.

i think i made my first error by hanging all leftys buds in the grow room with the lights still doing 18/6 but they been there since yesterday morning.

ive also noticed the smell from lefty drying is more like weed an this is 24 hours after being chopped. guess she will smell better after drying during the curing stage.

with all the shit i got going on i forgot to post some kind of update.

well ive no pics since me me mobile with all pcis are gone. so i have nothing i can post here of that nature.

but as for the final twin i think shes about day 107 or close to there an shes only now just beginning to show very small or slow growing triches. after a loupe check its looks alot like 3-4 weeks left which seems long. but since she went threw the main stem snapping that would stress her out a tad bit.

now i guess i should post some info about lefty since theres nearly saw dust left from the jar she was curing in.

since she was all dry when i stuck her into a 200ml jar an she was bulging out of that jar when i put the lid on, i think its safe to say she had around an ounce or a dam good close wieght to the ozzie marker. smoke wise since i began curing lefty i began taking buds out daily to smoke incase i got a buzz due to i needed to get pitfaced badly. but in my honest opinion, the taste of the smoke was tasteless, not really any kinda buzz effect. but there was a slight hit of skunky chestyish buzz but that wasnt until after 1 week of curing, and even then it wasnt a regular buzz..




so since th elast update ive been mugged, had me flat broken into twice. lost me mobile,purse an to top things off the door to where im growing now has to be wedged close until i can get it replaced, but since its of the growing nature which is a tad naughty its hard to order a repair on it. since i have no other place to put the plant uder her light. after i delightfully long annoying meeting at me bank they are still being asses yet expect me to still pay bills when they aint paying my money. an even after 2 break ins a mugging an a faceplant of a painful kind. they are happy to watch me squirm.

so after thinking long an hard an a few family asks im at a point where i may just have to unplug the other twin an chuck her since i dont think im going to be able to let her finish her grow since finance wise im fucked.

someone suggested some kinda donations to help me but after looking into paypal it takes abour 2 weeks an u need bank verification well my bank dont even send me statements so i couldnt verify a paypal account so cant do that either.

yes im venting some stress, some i dunno if im gonna finish this grow due to alot of issues. an finanual hell.


an just now i go a find i got 5 mistic blue beans an 5 kia kush beans which i wont even be able to use iether so more money wasted

its shocking they went that long , the scary thing is .. they looked like they could have gone atleast another week

they went alot longer than a few weeks, an even then the last plant wasnt a completed mixture of brown an clear triches when she was chopped. . harvested the final plant 2 weeks ago so yes went alot longer. but i the harvest maybe a total waste since there was what im guessing was tiny mini spider mites crawling around in the soil since i was feeding her water for the last 4 weeks she had no nutes in her system so i just gave her a 24 hrs pure dark then chopped an hung her out to dry.

as for amounts well thelast twin seemed to have MORE bud then the first harvest still sticks of rotten socks to the smell but again im not sure if its smokeable since she had the spider mite issue an i simply chopped her an got her hung out to dry as soon as i could.

well a month after the harvesting of the final twin an what can we say about the twins....What have i learned from this....Cheaper! Nough Said!

Me brother says high in both forms an thanks for all the views hes got off this on his youtube channel. lol

Since im nearly all done smoking the last twinny I can reflect on an adventurious grow.
Dam sure was alot of UPs n Downs an a ton of ? marks from you me an the twins involved.

that is everything i used to grow both twins. things not included which should be added to all grows an many have told me are what i never used with my grows.


Never done any water PH check.

the only method used for disstill my water was leaving the bowls out over night.

no fan blowing out old air out of the carboard. openng the door to feed an check is all the ait they got on a regular occasion.

the ONLY fan i used inside the cardboard for inroom air flow was a basic PC fan wired upto a old nokia recharger plug.

I never started trimming off leafage or defoilating my twins until later on as i never new about that but i can bring that to any future grows.

I do truely believe both twins could have gone maybe 3-4 weeks longer maybe even longer than that since the trics were not fully musky or even starting to go all turn brown when i chopped the final twin. but i still think since they my first fully completed auto NL grows im content with the outcome even if they had a few andenvtures along side my own adventures during the grows.

speaking of growing must start me new mistic blue and kaia kush double grows.

then i swapped 1 mystic blue an 1 kaia kush for 10 reg autos (dinafem white widow auto x blue himalayan diesel) auto short stuff seeds. now i <3 me skunkys so i fink i was just online at the dam right time for that little swap.

first bit of luck with that swap since my glass bong cracked right across the bowel.

might hav e been just pure luck but well shall see when with the next babys when they ready to be potted.

its depressing to see these as mine are 2 weeks old and dont look anything like those your plants look sweetness
