auto pounder help

I am am a if it isn't broke don't fix it guy and I like to read and get the best info from here. With that out of the way I decided to try an auto strain. I have 2 rooms Veg is 8 bulb T5 18 on 6 off. The second is 2 1000 hps 12 on 12 off. There is not a lot of info on the autos out there. I am 3 weeks into them and they are starting to flower now should i put them in the flower room at 12/12. If not can someone tell me why if light cycle doesn't matter. Should i put them under hps at 18/6. Thank you for any help.

I run my auto's atleast 20/4 some people do 24hrs a day. auto strains do not need light to tell them to flower so pump em full of as much light as you can

MOST AUTOS DO GREAT AT 20/4 ON THE LIGHTS. IT DON'T MATTER WHAT KIND OF LIGHT YOU USE, IF YOU USE IT RIGHT. PLEASE POST HOW IT COMES OUT. I'VE GROWN THEIR HIJACK . i'M A BIT OF A SATIVA DOMINANT HYBRID KIND OF GUY, AND THE HIJACK KICKED ASS. WONDERFUL FOR DAYTIME. JUST DON'T TOKE IT UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE CLEANING OR BEING REALLY ACTIVE. NO SHIT.

I go 18-6hrs last 4 grows. 2 1000w over 4x8 grow tray.

Autos have the name for a reason. True auto flowers will flower fully by age no matter what cycle although it's recommended to do 20/4 or 18/6.

i run 24/0 but im only running a 400w hps and 270w leds
