Autoflower CFL 1st Grow (Auto Northern Lights, Auto Haze, Roadrunner)

I'm very new to this journaling business so any feedback is greatly appreciated. I know a fair amount about growing from extensive research but I'm always open to new ideas and advice.

To start off the strains (all femenized) I chose were Nirvana - Auto Northern Lights, Dinafem - Auto Haze, and Dinafem - Roadrunner.

Instead of using soil I'm mixing a 50/50 batch of Pearlite and Peat Moss.

Ok so for the nutrients I'm using Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom set for the N.L. and Haze. For the Roadrunner I'm using plain old Organic Choice Miracle Grow which feeds plants up to 2 months. I'm also using molasses for flowering on all 3.

Due to lack of space im using 1 gallon pots but I'm fine with this because i needed more vertical room and If I used 2 gal. i would only be allowed 2 plants for horizontal space. I'm doing a closet grow inside a book shelf nothing fancy.

For lights I'm using 2 26w 6500k, 2 26w 2700k, 4 42w 2700k.

Ok so I think thats about all I can think of so far i currently have the seeds soaking in paper towels in seperate ziplocs temperature 83 - 85 degrees.

So I checked the seeds 20 hrs after i put them in paper towels and all 3 popped tails so there in jiffy peat. Temperature 80 - 82 degrees.

Ok so all 3 plants have come up which is exciting but for some reason my auto haze has sprouted 2 heads like a mutant:? and one has 3 false leaves:shock: don't know what happened but im kinda excited. Here are some pics kinda fuzzy cuz its a cell phone. Temperature still hangin between 80 - 82 degrees. The first pic is N.L. then Haze and finally Roadrunner.

Sorry for no update just been lazy.

Heres the Roadrunner which I'm definately not impressed with its really small and not growing very fast.

Heres the mutant Auto Haze not really diggin this gal either it too is kinda puny and a jumble of odd looking leaves I have hope for it though.

Very nice... I'm thinking about getting the auto Northern Lights but I haven't heard too much about them. Supposedly they're supposed already grow fast, and so I'm guessing that these autoflowers are going to be even faster?

Yes my Northern Lights is growing fast atleast compared to my Auto Haze. The thing I like most about my N.L. is its branches are thick and strong and grow evenly. There aren't preflowers at the moment but it has a very strong earthy smell so hoping flowering begins soon because it's Day 21. I also replaced my Roadrunner with an Auto Bubblelicious.

Any idea if this NL auto retains its low odor trait? If so it'd be perfect for my stealth grow.

Just let nature take its course ,c wot happens over the nex 2-3 weeks, then start to worry if theres mutant growth, it could jus b initial shock, good luck, feel free to ask q's greeni

Im not worried that theres mutant growth its just that the Auto Haze plant started with 2 heads growing pretty much 2 different plants from 1 root system so I just decided to call it a mutant. As far as odor i was unaware NL had low odor traits because mine stinks pretty bad but odor isnt a problem for me. Smells very indica IMO. The Auto Haze however has a spicy kinda smell but very faint unless you move some of the leaves around. Anyways the NL plant is doing amazing is less than 6 inches tall working on its 7th set of branches I'm very impressed so far and Im'm thinking I might order some Jock Horror Auto also. The Auto Bubblelicious sprout is also starting to take off well.

Hi guys,i am new here, and this is my first post.I would just like to share my growing experience with you on the Dinafem Roadrunner and Haze Auto. Both these seeds were freebees from the Attitude, and i thought they did really well. The Roadrunner i grew out a couple of weeks ago,she grew to about 24" with a cola the size of a tennis ball! I really like this strain, the taste was amazing, with a very nice high.I will grow this strain again, but only if they can make it more stable.

My Haze Auto has about two weeks to go,she is looking really nice, about 24" tall. I have 'high' hopes for this one! I can try to post a pic if anyone interested?

Frommboy666,i'm sorry your Roadrunner didn't work out,and your Haze is a bit....well... spazzy.Since reading other forums,i have read that other people have had problems with Dinafem auto strains, which kind of tells me they need to further stabilise there strains. One guys feminised Haze Auto went straight to male!! Good luck with your grow, dude.
