Autoflower Outdoor Growers.. Come Hither..

Well I have a few beans I wanted to try out now since it is very close to may. I found a more then perfect location that nobody goes to and it is close to a small muddy non man made pond.

I will never grow in or around my house, so I was wondering how I should start these babies. Should I go buy some premium soil and dig a few holes then come back a few weeks later and plant the seeds? Or would it be best to start them in cups for a week and transfer to the predug holes?

I have never done auto flowers before, and the guide I found says You should start them in the ground. What are your suggestions?

Should I worry about nute feeding with autoflowers or just plant, water, and watch out for pests/animals?

Also, Do you think the water will be alright for plants? The area is on a slope, so this is just rain water with a lot of mud in it. Or should I bring fresh water?

Thanks,
Lethargic

i would start them inside for however long you can, then put them out,

you can start nuting after about a month of growing, but you probably wont need to

im putting a auto outside this year, its flower power, what strains do you have?i would start them in side if you want to start them now,if you can wait then do it outside, the autos have short lifes and you dont want to risk transplant shock and stunt it if you can help it.i would bring in my own water and start 1/2 strength nutes at 3-4 weeks, best of luck

Trying Out Green-O-Matic strain. The home will be off limits unfortunately, nobody should do this where they sleep.

Why wait so long to start feeding? Start at the end of week one, with a light feeding, just dont go over board, I am using compost tea, and have been feeding since the end of week one with no damage to the plants. If you wait so long then they cant grow to their full potential, they do have a short veg period so you want to get them to grow as much as you can in that time. Transplanting shouldnt shock your plants that bad, just give them a good feeding when you do transplant, and give them a bit of an extended night period, so they can rest and they should be perked up over night, and you should not even notice any difference, like you never did anything too them. I think the issue is that people put them straight back into their 20/4 schedule or 18/6 when they need a good long night period to recover. Believe me it makes a big difference. If no body did this where they sleep most people would never grow cannabis, go over to the indoor section and tell those people that, you will be laughed at hysterically, its funny that you think people even care. The world is too fucked up to care about shit like that man. Especially when you have fucked up health issues that keep you from working, playing with your child, fishing, going out with friends, doing things that most people take for granted. Obviously you are completely healthy and dont actually need cannabis, so you have the option to travel on foot for miles in the mid summers heat to an area out in the middle of nowhere, if you can make such a statement.

I start my autos in a 2 gal pot an they go out they will stay in the pot.

I read that cooler temps ill keep em vegging longer

To much nitro can slow flower development so go easy, I hardly fertilize mine , they just use whats in the miracal grow soil.

If your growing autos you can hide em very easly if they are in a pot, stealth is important .

I will put mine in a green wheatfield nearby in about a week it should be tall enough to vannish em.

Having a few auto grows under my belt, I would reccommend starting your plants inside, letting them get about 3 weeks old, which will show sex, then put out the honeys.....I start mine in jiffy plugs, placed in jiffy pots....then just planbt the jiffy pots into whatever.....
Adding ferts too soon has killed a couple of my grows....had my best success in MG Organic.....FF ocean Forest was too hot for seedlings but great for mature plants. MG regular stuff was also good.....like I said, I fucked my grows everytime I added nutes early.

I'd echo what Scarhole says. I grow autos outdoors on my balcony. Last year I used a 3 gallon pot and it barely made a dent in that amount of soil. Regarding the nutes, less is better. They are sensitive/finicky to nutes. This year I went with much smaller pots.

Last year I planted in August, and it flowered by day 19. This year I planted in March and it took about a week longer or so for flowering. And, it's been uncommonly cold in SoCal.

No reason at all to plant directly in the ground. They can't get that big with a 70 day life cycle. Leaving them in the pot gives you the option to move them if needed. Best of luck!

If its april 26 when do ya'll think my wife and i should be able to harvest our crop.i have bipolar and these are the only strains i could get my hands on. Please offer any advise please. Thanx themarriedcouple

i think both of those strains are 65 to 70 days to harvest, from day of gemination. so i'd say about 2 months from now you'll be relieved of your bipolar, and feeling very happy

i like being able to pamper my auto so it is very close to my bedroom....i live in a city with shootings, whores, heroin sales, human trafficking ect......so im not too worried about 1 AF....more worried about MS 13.....ne ways bro with the question.....try to start them in the spot they will always live....dont transfer AF as they live short lives and u dont want any stress.....feed flower potion after 3 weeks if they are doing good.....if ya dont feed ur buds are gonna be fluffy wuffys and thats just not as cool as sticky dense buds.....good luck and my AF is in my journal as well as my bonsai mj........peace out.....

oh yeah i dont fault ne one for not growing at their house. i just cant be bothered to go into the woods every so often.....im in the city fuck that shit......
