Autoflower question

first go round with autoflowering plant and generally overwhelmed by the amount of available info. as of 35 days I have a small, but stocky and healthy looking plant. supposedly it can be expected to begin flowering at 75 to 80 days. i'm presently giving it constant (24/24) light. do I need to switch to another light schedule now or at any time? from what I've read, it sounds like I might want to go to an 18/6 or 20/4 schedule during flowering.

If it's an auto flower you should be seeing the stretch and bud development very soon.
People who do 18/6 or 20/4 usually do it save on the electricity bill as you may not gain much more bud from the extra hours on.
