Dear All,

Im growing auto caramelicous fem from MSNL,
grow medium is 60% organic local shop potting soil, PH is 6.0, 40% perlite.
lights MH 250 W 20 inch away mixed with some 6500K Cfls 7 inch away.
it used to look green but with slow growth, before 4 days she had "hizenberg tea" mixed with some organic frets on small dose, they started to yellow a day after. i checked the soil and it was slightly dry, so i just thought to add some GH Macro and grow , just few drops, into 400 Ml of water, 250 PPM nutes (PH 6.6) and that's how they look 2 days after, not that much of a change.

can you please advise if they look hungry or over watered, and what should i do to check it.

What are your temps and humidity like? What is hizenberg tea? What size pot is she in?

My guess is the plant doesn't like the soil too much do you know exactly what's in it? a pH of 6 seems pretty low for soil but I never check my soils pH just the water that goes in. I also don't trust those soil probe things at all, I wouldn't add more food yet id use straight water for the next two to three waterings and see how she does. But this is just me other people will prolly say different

On another note I've had seedlings if mine look like this and completely grow out of it

Temps 75-85 Humidity 40-70% usually 60%
Heisenberg tea is a brew of each worm cast based soil, Ro water, and subculture M,B also added Real Growers Recharge, its beneficial bacteria and microbes that help to build relation with the roots.

i just dont know does it seem underwatered ? because i lost my first batch due to over watering, so i planted these in cups and planted directly to soil.

if its not over watered i guess they are just hungry.

There could be some other factors as well, I see alot of people who use mh lights have them around 24" above their seedlings maybe it's slightly to close, when I water I do the weight check, lift your planter up, if it's light I water if not I'll wait another 12-24 hours and lift again till it's light.

This works for me it may not for you but here is what I do,

When i see my seedling pop I'll give her a light watering for the first 3-4 days and I mean light water (60-100mls) when they are about 5 days old I start giving them 1 litre of water every two days until they are around 12-14days old then I start lifting and checking the weight to determine if they need water or not

Id maybe give her a small amount of just water and keep an eye on her she doesn't look too bad tho really. do you have any other pics? Mayb a.little bit closer?

well, i had grown some before, same strain, had issues with DWC so decided i go dirt, on my first try i just planted 4 seeds into a big 10 gallon bucket, all died after 15 days due to over watering, didn't water much, just the initial watering, when 10 gallon gets watered, took it 15 days to dry.

so i planted 2 girls in 200 Ml transparent cups, cut the bottom. and placed in another cup, after 7 days i transplanted into the 10 gallon, i haven't been watering much, as im scared from over watering. i dig around the cup a little today, roots are Perl white, just slim. does this ring a bell ?

ok, dont dig around in the cup. dont water part way, dont worry about over watering, just watering too often, good mix plus good water plus good drainage = good time
notice the weight in the cup when watered thoroughly ? now dont touch it till the dirt is dry and hard, and the cup is light compared. now water fully. for instance. i use promix. dry transplant, and add one gallon to a five gallon bucket, about four gallons of dirt. and it runs out a little. I keep the one gallon a standard when buckets are light.
plant seedlings in small cups, good idea, some colored cups you can see the moisture, may help a bit for you.

thank you for your help, but I have transplanted the cups in the 10 gallon pot and never left it up since then, so i dont think i will be able to lift it and check the weight, currently i have a meter as you can see in my first post and its helping me to determine when to water. after my watering yesterday they seem slightly little better, i will post some pics shortly.
