Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

Seems like a no-brainer to me. With dozens of Autofloweirng strains available and with their popularity soaring, combined with the fact that they behave and are grown differently than photoperiod strains, it clearly warrants a dedicated forum. What the heck would it hurt to have one? Is it going to clutter things up so bad just to add one extra forum? Fact is it'll unclutter the whole site, with people posting their Auto related questions in that forum instead of all over the site.

No a forum for examples like (general marijuana growing, newbie central, indoor growing, outdoor growing, etc etc) I guess a "sub forum" would work as well just think a reg forum would be better anybody agree?
Forum>Sub-Forums>Threads>Posts

So you mean a new forum just based on Autos?.. I don't follow you

Marijuana Growing, Newbie Central etc etc ARE Sub-forums

The reason this thread got started actually was from another thread I started days before asking for a sub forum for AF strains. After only 10 or 15 replies in a few days the moderators said there wasnt enough of a demand, and told me to start an AF thread of my own, so I did.

The original thread asking for a sub forum was closed, but I figure now would be a great time to start another, so I did! HERE it is, come support our cause so we can hopefully get a sub forum and not have to rely on a 500 page thread for all our info :)

Thanks to everyone!

Woohoo, the first of my Easy Ryders from my first grow started flowering yesterday on day 19 :D. She has very tight internodal spacing packed with pre-flowers, and should be a good producer if she stays on course. My other 4 Easy Ryders were planted 5 days later, and one of those is just on the verge of flowering at day 14. The other 3 are growing a little bit slower and are still several days away, but all 5 that I germinated and planted are very healthy and doing great :).

Hey guys, just adding a quick reminder to come by and support us getting an AF Sub-Forum in the thread I started CLICK HERE

I know that when a new page gets started sometimes people dont look back, so I will post a reminder on every page until we get rejected or until we get a sub forum. Last time not nearly enough people came and expressed interest, and so far we have had some but not enough. So tell your friends, and come drop by to lend your support. All that needs to be done is to make a post stating that you are in favor of a new Sub-Forum for AF strains, and if we get enough people to post, I truly think that it may happen this time.

Thanks to everyone who stops and has stopped by!!

Chopped another Easy Ryder today. Two down, one more left. First three is the one I cut, the fourth and fifth is the remaining plant. Details in my thread.
Damn Sonar those are some GORGEOUS ladies!!! They look 110% healthy and thriving man, gotta love the sun eh??
So how tall roughly was the one you just harvested? From the pic looks to be about 24" or so, but hard to gauge. Also, how much sun were they getting per day and for how long?
Sorry for all the questions, been doing a bit of outdoor research recently :P Gettin ready for next year :)

Thanks guys! Don't mind the questions at all. I never really measured them, but I'd say the one I cut was probably about 18"-20". Not quite two feet. The remaining one is a little bigger.

The "cliff notes" version of my grow is I started them early July inside under fluoros for about 3 weeks in the small 9 oz beer cups until they showed sex. After that I transfered them to 2 gallon buckets and took them out to my patch. Actually the one I chopped today was in a 2.5 gallon bucket. I'd say they get close to 8 hours of direct sunlight a day. I really lucked out these past few weeks it's been cooler and nothing but sun. Been feeding with 1/2 strength Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom about once a week and they've been loving it. Fed them once with 1/2 strength Grow after 3 weeks. In retrospect, I think 3 gallon buckets (or in the ground w/ about 3 gallons worth of soil) might be better. I wouldn't go as far as saying the two I picked were terribly root bound, but it was definitely getting tight in there. I'm satisfied so far, but I'm a little surprised they aren't bigger, especially with the awesome weather I've been having. Not sure how other guys are doing it, but I've seen other Easy Ryders and some Diesel Ryders grown inside that dwarf mine.
