hi again loving the answers this thread provides but i want to know more ,

what other factors can cause an auto not to flower under a 18/6 cycle?

and if by day 30 you have no flowers and flip to 12/12 how long would it be untill you should notice flowers

and how long from then till the plant is ready?

also has anyone ever had one that just wont flower no matter what? thanks x
I also have a Bubblelicious from Nirvana that did not flower on her own....flipped her to 12/12 and kept her there and she will be done in a week or 2

I feel that sometimes breeders try to get a new strain out before it is truly ready causing unstable results....do some research before you purchase any auto seeds and make sure it is a stable strain from a reputable breeder...

Once you flip to 12/12 it should only take a week or so to start showing signs of flowering.

plants look nice people, keep up the good work... i agree that companies push auto's out so quick they are not always accurate as to the days to finish and yield .. now i have only grown 1 auto a couple years ago, was not impressed it was lowryder 2 and i only got 19 grams, but i have seen this aito mazar from dutch passion.. it says it is the highest yield of all the auto's. claiming 205 grams off the largest one ever grown... and it also says to expect atleast 3-5 ounces per plant... anyone have any expierence with this strain?

i will begin by saying i do not have experience with it, but i also dont think it is impossible. i feel like i've seen some huge autos on here looking through journals. 5 oz might be a stretch, but 3 i would say is def reasonable under good lighting and ideal circumstances

enybody know how to grow auto flowers?

hi its my first time on here and i would like it if someone could give me some advice. i have decided to grow some auto flower seeds(big bang auto, from www.greenhouseseeds.nl )hope that helps. i am going to use all-mix soil wich consists of 20% sphagnum peat moss, 35% garden peat, 10% high quality organic worm manure, 30% perlite and 5%pre mix from( www.biobizz.com ).now the nutes i have are bio-grow which i dont think i need to use as the soil is very potent for the first 4 weeks. i also have bio-bloom and topmax which i have been advised to use in the last 4 weeks but i dont know if this is the right thing to do and if it is the right thing to do i dont know what measurements. all my nutes are from (www.biobizz.com) and my nutes and soil are designed to work together. i would apreciate eny help, advice, input please as i have my seeds in water now
I would go very easy on the nutes start of at 1/4 strength (when needed) as Autos don't like too much nutrient & are quite sensitive to them.. I would imagine from your set-up you should just use tap water for the first few weeks then steadily add nutes and slowly build them up as your plant grows bigger.. Personally I find it much easier starting with an inert medium like rockwool or coco as you start with a blank canvas so to speak & you add only what they should need rather than relying on what nutes are already present in the soil.

Hey guys i got 2 mi5's going right now and its day 19 and both started budding today. They are only about 5 inches tall and go about about 6 nodes. They are under a 400 w mh light. Is this normal or should they be taller? by lowlife ak47 is 11 inches tall at 21 days and just started to bud. Are the mi5's short?

In my experience with short stuff they will stretch and bush out between weeks 4 and 6. I think the MI5s are one of the breeders smaller strains.

Hello everyone at RIU. I am new to growing and currently have a PC grow going with lowlife hindu kush feminized autoflowring seeds and have some questions. I am not sure if this is the correct place for my questions or if it should be under the newbie section. Sorry in advance if this should be posted in that room. My question is I am having difficulties determining the sex of one of my plants. This hindu kush is currently 16 days old and I have attached a couple of pictures to show you what I am looking at. I am pretty sure that it is a male but I was surprised to see the sex showing this quick on the plant. I know that the pistols are what you want to see in the female plants and the male pollen sac or "balls" are typically on the 4th or 5th nodes first. One of the pictures shows and even when I look closely at them there are a few of these that appear to be opening. Do the male pollen sac's open this early or could this plant still show how be a female? Do you think this is a male or female plant? Thanks for your help and time in advance:)

It is a male for sure. those are pollen sacks that will mature and open in about another week. I have had all of my males show sex before 20 days. The females are usually a couple of days behind that. It is not what it was supposed to be but on the bright side you can pollinate your female and produce your own seeds. I only buy mixed sex seeds so I don't have to order seeds every time I want to grow something.

Thanks Teflon:) That is what I thought but wanted a second opinion. I will also take your advice and save one female to produce my own seeds. Have a good one!
