Hi,

i have a problem with my autoflower she's in 5th week and the strain is auto brooklyn sunrise

i use 480W LED mars hydro reflector suspended about 35cm above this plant.

last time i watered her i gave her what you see in the included picture, the PPM was 1250 and i watered her with about 600ml

i am growing 3 other strains but they are not affected like this even though i used almost the same nutrients.

i am probably gonna flush her now, can i remove the top fan leaves?? Will the flowers continue to grow if i remove them? I am a noob grower idk, but i've heard that some problems could spread if you don't remove it.

Led seems too close to canopy.

Looks like its burning the leaves and can lead to bleaching, stress and misc problems

PPM much too high imo- expect possible nutrient lock out

Most of the time, plants don't need over 600ppm!

Definitely keep the fan leaves. :leaf::leaf:

They are more important than people think. Everyone tries to get a huge yield but most people don't leave the foliage to grow strong and properly support the plant for optimal production and quality.

I only remove fan leaves when they are almost ready to fall off. If I ever have another problem with bugs or mold, I will remove contaminated leaves with discretion.

Nice job getting results. It's all about trial and error. Always good to ask questions.

Thanks for the reply.

I increased the distance of the LED light to 50cm above the plants and will continue to check the distance as my plants grow to make sure the plants won't get closer to the LED than 40cm, you're right the PPM was too damn high for a plant of this age and especially coco coir, i'll put half as much nutrients in from the next week on, for this week i'll water them preventively with 200 - 300 PPM so that they don't get any nutrient toxicity in the future.
