Autoflowering Strains+Bubbleponices

I just want a few inputs on as to what you all think my results would be if I took a few autoflowering blueberries and a few white moscows (White Russian crossed with Lowryder) and grew it using a bubbleponics system? Approximately how long before I can harvest considering this method speeds everything up also considering that these strains only take 9-11 weeks from seed to finish.....Also how potent do you think these will be??? :joint:

Your yields would be significantly higher using Bubbleponics/DWC vs. soil.

Your plants will veg faster and more vigorously than in soil. Which is a giant help with autoflowering strains since you only have about a 4 week window to get them as big as possible before flowering.

I was wondering the same thing cause I got 5 free short stuffs from dopeseeds on my last order. from what I understand the short stuff is just dopeseeds lowryder identical genes anyways. suppose to be 8 weeks start to finish.

I've grown autos in hydro several times. The claims they make about seed to harvest times are, let's call it - extremely optimistic. I went at least 10 days over. My conclusion was that any reduction in grow time did not justify the reduction in yield. The autos are good for very small spaces and I really liked the high (white dwarf), but I don't think they are a route to better grow efficiency.

I'm getting ready to start a grow with 10 fem af white russian, and the fem la woman, fem la confidential, and fem sour cream that they sent me for free with the white russian from attitude(i always get a few freebies with them). I just bought two of the SH bubbleponics kits, and plan on using those to grow out the white russian. I wanted to do the other three in soil(this is my first go at hydro), but I've been told that it's not a good idea to have soil plants growing next to the hydro, because of problems with bugs etc i guess. Anyone have an opinion or grown in soil in the same space with hydro. I have a 430w hps son agro to go over each tank and I was thinking there would be enough light for the extra three in soil. I haven't seen a lot of people using the SH bubbleponics with HID either so if anyone has any experience growing in bubbleponics with HID, or just any helpful tips(remember this is my first time in hydro) I would greatly appreciate it. Hope to get some advice soon, I need to start germing my seeds in the next two weeks.

NO ONE! I can't believe that no one on here has any experience with this kind of setup. I could really use some help on how you guys think it's gonna work out. Maybe I'm posting in the wrong place, so if I am would someone please point me in the right direction. thanks in advance

I think you answered youw own question. Don't mix hydro & dirt grows in thw same area for the reasons you posted above.

Glad U asked this ? but sorry to see the lack of bubbleponics autoflowering growers. I would have thought there would be more input as I have always found this to be a helpful forum. So let me say before I put my 2 cents worth in thanks to everyone here at rollit for the past posts concerning DIY bubbleponics systems. I have grown many seasons outdoors but finally after much mental debate I decided to try a small indoor system if for no other reason to breed seeds ( Seeds cost $)and get a early start on the spring season. Ie cloning. I was a little reluctant at first but after reading more and more about the autos I decided last year to grow a selection of the autos and check 3 things :
1: True Seed to harvest time.
2: Quailty
3: Total average yield.
· At that time the autos that I could find were limited and I choose White dwarf and the much heralded AK48. I did 2 grows a early and late grow each with 5 of both seeds. The AK scent was incredible and the smoke was excellent but the yield was disappointing averaging 24 grams per plant from 10 feminzed seeds with each plant being approx. 15 inches tall. Grow time was about 74 days on average. Excellent strain and do recommend. The white dwarf gave about the same results but several grams higher in weight. Approx. 30 grams per plant based on 10 feminized seeds. Grow time was average 67 days. After much thought I decided that during the winter I would fool around with some indoor growing and try for some seed stock for some more autos to get a early crop while I waited for the fall harvest. I went back online to my trusted seed company and did a pick and mix of white dwarf regular to hopefully get a male (still not used to hoping for a male)and also wanted a regular for my female for seed stock. I Also at that time I looked for more autos and noticed the selection was getting larger and a number of breeders were beginning to release new strains. After some research the strain that looked to have the best potential for yield was il diavlo so I order 1 feminized and I also ordered 1 red dwarf femalong with 1 AK48. I still had several white dwarf fem left from my 1st order the year before so I could fill the tub with them to bring the total count to 8. I read rosemans directions and with a few modifications I have what I think to be a adequate system the only big difference is the container size and air pump size. I believe that when growing utilizing highly oxygenated deep water culture 2 things had to be important lights and air. I always go over what I think but not so much that I am on the edge. The DIY bubbleponics system consist of 1 rubbermaid Roughneck Storage Box - 31 gal 32.3" x 20.4" x 16.7". 3’X3’ mylar coated grow tent 7’6” tall. Plenty of room for the short autos after all outdoors only were avg. 15” inches tallest maybe 20”. The il diavlo say up to 40” I think. Anyway hight should not be a issue. The Tank is 31 gallon so will be using about 20+ gal to bring water line within 2 inches of bottom of hydroton cup. Staying with my more is better but not to much I go with a 30-60 gallon tetra aquarium pump 2 -12” airstones and 8 growing stations. Now staying with the more is better theme I went with 1-400 watt HPS 2-65 watt swirl type 2700k CFL’s 2-125 watt 5U 6500k CFL’s. A little less than a avg. of 7000 lumen per sq. foot. MAKE NO MISTAKE THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR LIGHT . The CFL’s allow me the luxury of directing more light to specific plants or what was turned out to be even more important shielding others from heat burn while still supplying light. (Will explain later.lol) As you CFL growers know virtually no heat. With my grow tent located in the garage heat would not be a issue if anything I would need to heat the garage itself to a minnum of 60 degrees. I used a 4” inline fan with 80 cfm running into 4” flex alum duct and out a window plate. The inline fan is plugged into a thermostatic controlled outlet setup at off at 70 degrees and on at 78 works great! Lights for the 1st 40 days were 24/7 now have set to 20 on 4 off. Ok now that I have supplied you with more information than you needed I will tell you my results so far. Bear in mind I am still 2 weeks from harvest but drawing from past experience I think more like 3. Still anything under 80 days I can live with as long as yield is there. At first I thought maybe I had some kind of rouge seed because the white dwarf immediately branched out and grew what I refer to as 2 more stalks almost right at the base of the container it would be compareable to having 3 plants growing out of this 1 station. But shortly after all the white dwarf and the red dwarf showed these signs. The il divalo just shot up and out. I had no experience on the il diavlo and could find any information outside the seed ad at the time so no info to base things on. Just thought if it turned out well and I had a strong white dwarf male what the heck lets cross them and have another seed for the early crop can’t hurt right? Well 1 female white dwarf died and 1 of the regular seeds could not shed it husk even though I do use a emery board on the seeds before germination to try and stop this it still happens so it died. I have 2 empty station so I hurry and grab 2 more white dwarf and germ them and start them I am now about 10 days in thinking they are still seedling and these will be okay even with late start. Long story short 1 lives 1 dies. At this point I am holding my breath praying for 1 of the 2 remainder regular seeds to be male. (lol never get used to that feeling hoping for a male) Well as soon as those roots hit that water the gig was up. When they say 1” of growth a day with bubbleponics they are not kidding. As soon as the roots hit the water is when the branching took off. Now 45 days in what were supposed to be 15-20” plants are 40” bushes. The il diavlo is out of control and the 1 problem that I thought would never occur has shown up I have a height issue. I started with a 16” container sitting on a 12” stand I had to remove the stand because the il diavlo had grown to close to the hps and was showing signs of heat stress at 30 days. Then at 40 days I had to move the hps light to the other side of grow tent and use the 65 watts cfls with reflector to shield the tops of il diavlo from heat burn and the white dwarf are right behind them. Ok lets do the math 7’6” tall grow tent that is 78 inches a 16”container about 5 inches to bottom of light so we have 21 inches of used vertical space that leaves 57 inches that’s about right the il diavlo is about 4 inches away at 2 of the tallest tops and the White dwarf is approx. 5-7 inches away. Ok there you go we have white dwarf that is 45 days into groth and is at 40+ inches and il diavlo that is well over 50”. But to me more importantly is the incredible branching and the fact that all the white dwarf have become bush like. The entire 3X3 area is completely filled and each plant has multiple tops. I am anticipating in excess of 55 gram+ per plant for the white dwarf and I truly believe that is conservative estimate. This has far exceeded anything I expected. I am not new to hydroponic but this dwc/bubbleponics coupled with the auto strains is a winner. With a harvest time of under 80 days and a decent yield with quality smoke it is a home run as far as I am concerned. Oh yea I almost forgot the AK48 is slightly larger than it was outdoors during the 2 previous outdoor grows but nothing compared to the white dwarf. I guess I should take some pics and post hate to make these claims and not back them up. If you want I will. Sorry didn’t mean to hijack your forum but wanted to give a complete answer. Good luck with your decision. By the way I must say hats off the stealth hydro for coming up with this idea!
