Autoflowers 2.5 weeks old ( i think)

So I planted a few auto flowers ( first grow ever).

My setup 1000 watt light 20 inches away

• no nutes
• ocean forest
• and frog soil..
• Doing 24 hours of light since they were seedlings

These things look healthy but really small and short. I watch videos and pictures all over the place of autoflowers and at 2 weeks old, they are ALOT bigger than mine.

For awhile I had the lights inches above them, for like 3 or so days( then moved up to two feet)
Because its a 1k light, i was watering them lightly once a day.

Here's a screenshot of the biggest one http://prntscr.com/efoe37 is this a normal size? Should i move light away to make them stretch?

Keep doing what you are doing. Everything looks fine. What nutes do you have? With FFOF you will not need to add nutes until pistils start popping.

I keep my lights on 24/0 too. If you are concerned about the power usage, you can cut it down to 20 on 4 off.

How many plants under that 1000? And whatcha growing?

Depending on what you are growing, autos can be 12"s to 40"s generally.

You can also google search whatever you are growing and find all kinds of info.

Anyway looks good!

Thank you, the heat from the 1k light is driving me INSANE. I have 2, 6 inch fans, one HUGE fan, a humidifier that blows cold ( moist air supposedly, just got it a few hours ago.) THEN i have 44o cfm pulling out the hot air over the lights, then outside. THEN i got cold air blowing directly in from window using another 440 cfm fan. THEN i rerouted my central ac, blocked all other vents and wired a thermostat in the 4 by 8 ft temp so it will kick on when appropriate. And I still can barely keep it down to 78ish..I WISH i would have gone with LED lights..maybe less heat issues..

I have 12 plants under the 1k for now, while they are small one light is enough. But i just planted 6 more, cus im gonna have to put the other light on soon so i myswell make it worth it, So then I will have 9 under each..

the strains im growing are, top cat autos (1)
Short and sweet auto ( 3 of them, 2 didn't grow tap root, one did and never made it out of the soil
ELECTRIC FRUIT
EUFORIA AUTO heres what this strain CAN do supposedly lol..mine will prolly be 1/10th that FRUIT PUNCH
AMNESIA AUTO
MAZAR AUTO
NL MAZAR AUTOFLOWERING

so far the fruit punch are WAAY faster growing then the rest, all 5 of them are doing alot better than the rest. Sorry for typos, just spent 3 hours dealing with damn heat issues..tired..

Any chance your ballast can dim?

A digital 600 hps/mh setup with an enclosed hood is only $230, and very manageable heat without even the need for a/c, just a decent exhaust fan, maybe your space requires you to "downgrade", even still, the 100,000 lumens you can get from a 600hps will be enough for your space, you didnt mention how big the grow space was

I have an XXL dominator hood, and I have adjustable ballast. I.just feel like what was the point of getting a 1k light..If I don't use it..My space is 4 ft by 8 ft by 7 ft high..I did trying it at 75% dim, it did fix the heat issue. But I felt too guilty I felt like the plants weren't getting the light they cud be..So I put it back up..

yep you definetely have the space to warrant a 1k.

Been looking for a post like this for a while, currently have 4 blue-amnesia's growing and was curious on size around week 2.5.
