Automated Systems ?

I hear that there are automated hydroponic systems that only require maintence about once a week if everything is running great, has anyone heard of that ?

Well... you would have to... at the VERY least, raise your lights daily
not if the light is attached to a rope witch is attached to a motor and the light has some type of optical sensor on it witch tell the motor when to run and make the light go up ... :peace: and good luck build that...

Hi Skunkstar, I recently had the same thoughts as yourself, this is the the closet thing I could find to an Automated System. This are made by a company called Autogrow, the first one you would need is called Intelliclimate and is for grow room controls; lights,fans,humidity,co2 and temp ect. The second one is for nutrient controls, it is called Autodose, this is a complete automatic system for you nutrient tank, it will "autodose" up to 8 different additives, nutes, ph, ect. These systems are very expensive and would require a large grow to justify the cost. Keep in mind there are still other daily requirements for looking after you op. Hope this helps.

Homegrownhydroponics.com has fully automated grow cabinets auto dosing for ph levels nutrients,and also when your res gets low it tops it off with water then checks the ph and nutes it is pretty amazing what they have come out with....But it takes the fun out of growing and what happens when something breaks down your fucked
