Automatic drip system for indoor plants

I have to be gone for a couple of weeks.

Has anyone used one of these (or similar).

Seems like it might be just the ticket.

I have 4 3gal fabric pots and 4 1 gal plastic pots.
Using FFOF soil.
I was thinking of adding 4, ¼ " drip valves to the one gal, for adjustment purpose.

I have not used that specific product, but it looks like it would work great given that you have a sufficient reservoir. I have used a similar DIY system before. One thing I noted was that since different plants had (somewhat) different water requirements even in the same size pots and same start dates, there was the chance of overflowing one drain off tray before sufficiently watering another plant. Thus, you might want to get drip adjustment valves for all of the pots and ensure the runoff reservoirs are large enough. I was outdoors at the time so the runoff difference didn't matter in my case, but may have caused humidity and other problems if it was indoors.
