Autopilot a reliable brand, specifically their APC8200 co2 monitor?

Seems like you get a lot of bang for the buck with the Autopilot APC8200. 15' remote sensor, awesome display that shows co2 levels, dead-band setting, records min/hour/daily/weekly ppm levels, photocell etc. Comparable units are easily double the price of the Autopilot.

Is this a reliable brand? Anyone running this co2 monitor? It''s got great reviews on amazon but I can't find any feedback on the various grow forums of anyone using it.

I bought this unit for like 100 or 125 bucks and it seems to be a good unit. I plugged it in and it read at almost 2k in my grow room so I thought it wasn't calibrated and was junk. I unplugged it and took it put on my front porch and it read like 470ppm. So I assume its fairly accurate. I never used it to turn a co2 regulator on seei g as my co2 levels in my house are sufficient with 2 people and 2 dogs.

Yeah when this controlled came out about 2 years ago it was about 125 USD... now its double the price but if its reliable, still a steal for the amount of options it has.

I've used it in 4 grows so far and it's solid. Value for money really, I couldn't justify spending like 400-500 bucks for other controllers when I was starting the CGE game.
