Hi guys

I'm looking to run an autopot set up with Coco/perlite and wanting to run the full house and garden range (incl amino&root exceletator)

Has anyone tried this set up before as I'm concerned about sediment settling at the bottom of resivoir

I thought a decent water pump to keep things moving should sort it?

I run autopots, I'm not sure on that nute range but I run ANs nutes with Ata clean at 0.1ml/l, I have fed plants 2 30 litre tanks so far with no water pump/airstone on changing my rez there was a bit of sediment at the bottom I had to wipe out (I did not stir in the 7 days after first mixing) plants were fine system was fine. Where the sediment settled in inches away from feed pipe so Al good.
Also my friend has airstones and still gets sediment u always will jus don't use any organics and just clean mineral salts and will be fine that said I have ordered a tiny water pump but only as I feel I should mix it I I leave it alone long periods.....I do think they will run fine without.

I have run the GHE TriPart range plus Fulvic; only seen very minor sediment at the bottom of the tank (it was brownish, so probably from the Fulvic, can't say for sure).

I did give a bacterial tea to the plant, but that was given directly and not added to the tank; would do the same with Trichodermae and Mycorrhizae.

At one point I have run the setup unattended for 3 straight weeks, and the tank was completely dry. I just got back in time to refill then. Even then there was not much sediment in the tank at all.

I also never had bad smells either. NB my tank is sitting outside and it certainly heated up to over 25C during the summer, more than once.

I have never added any sanitizers. When refilling the tank I cleaned it with tap water.

Never used a pump nor an airstone or anything like that. It is probably not necessary.

If you are concerned about certain products to cause problems, you can always top feed them separately.

I have flushed my plant with FlashClean a few times, also ran a little of it through the system. I do not know if that was necessary, it probably did not hurt.
