Tis the deep blue spectrum that grows trics, HPS doesn't have much in the way of blue so yes it can be beneficial. Hell I grow with deep blue the whole time ,,,, I like trics

Yep the MH runs hotter. I use a 300w cfl with my hps at the same time for a bit of blue light and that's cooler than the MH on its own.

im sure u are but i hope ur right @RM3 ive just undertaken my first root boil im in an 11 litre pot is 3.5 litres of water enough or would u go a bit more ive just done it as approx double a standard watering made sure i got right in the centre of the pot and right round ive just left her in the flower tent on 12/12 i did this at lights on assuming im correct with all this looking forward to the results and thanks again for sharing yet another golden nugget of info
