B.C. Hydroponic Nutrients recipe for success starter kit.

I recently saw the B.C. Hydroponic Nutrients recipe for success starter kit at my local grow shop and was wondering if any one has used it or if i should give it a try. i only have three plants so i dont need to buy liters.
