Almost two year ago I did my first run cloning. 100 percent success. A coffee can and an airstone and some flowering branches. In a week I had full clonage. Four pretty bag seed girls.I then had some on and off luck. Went to rapid rooters and heat mat and done and chamber and blah blah blah. The works. Had 100 percent success.
Then BOOM. For 6 months I have not been able to clone. Nothing worked. I tried every manner their is. From coffee can to rockwool to rapid rooters to a aero bucket.
Nothing.
So I tried one more time. Next time it was an ezcloner thirty then throwing in the towel.
I carefully made a dwc bin that had enough water to keep a stable ph. Three gallons. I drilled holes for neoprene inserts and little netpots. I bought these off ebay,
I took an old 3.5 watt airpump and a limewood airstone.
I forgot about using tents and chambers.
I put it on my refrigarator. I put a 13 watt cfl over it in a parbolic reflector.
I just put the clones in with nothing. Just ph 5.8 water.
Guess what. In five days I had full clone success. Two strains. Now so overgorwn I got to scramble to get the dwc buckets setup.
Perfect. I am back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a side not while I was typing this I just smelled something burning. I went to the kithcen. The airpump power cord had slipped from its place and into the burner of the stove which was on. It burned the cord and clowded over the whole house! lol. Will I ever win, lol.
