If you do your research you will no longer be clueless. We all had to do it. Start off with cheap seeds till you know what you're doing.

even at 7 feet your looking at5- 5.5 foot of growing hight, so 8 weeks of veg you will run out of hight room. good rule of thum, after veg time and into flower, your plants will grow about 3 times the size they are at the end of veg, so base you veg time to that so you wont run out of hight room.

I hope that you live someplace cool, it's going to be hotter in that shed than it is outside and when the light goes on that is going to push the temps even higher. It may help to run the light at night but, i you have neighbors that may attract attention that you don't really want. What are temps where you live, day and night? And what are the temps inside the shed?

i was going to run the lights at night because there isnt gonna be any lights leaking out cuz im making it air tight. the temps are average 80 during the day and drop to 65-70 at night. i figured that if i had a decent ventilation system my plants would be fine because i read somewhere in a guide here that they like temps from 75-85.

thanks for the help on the veg stage. i get what your saying now. i think im gonna just let them veg until they get to be a good height that i can multiply by 3 and still have enough room. oh and i forgot to add i will be topping and femming my plants to make them shorter and bushier since im only growing 6 plants in that amount of space.
does anyone no a good inline fan that is decently cheap that i could use for this size of room?

400w is not enough to cover 6 plants vegged more than about a week or two. 400w wont penetrate more than about 2ft. and cover about 30x30in. effectively. If you use both lights you can cover 6 relatively large plants pretty well if you train them to be wide instead of tall.
If you run a dedicated circuit to cool the lights, you may be able to control the heat. You'll need another fan system to control da funk. No matter how well you seal it up, funk will leak out.
The forums are a good place for info, but they can't replace a good grow book. Start reading homie and you'll be miles ahead.

Pictures of your shed would do a great deal. Moreover, the problem with sheds are the bugs that can come without being noticed, so make sure your shed is 100% closed. Also, make sure your shed is nicley cleaned out so there is no bacteria that can later harm your plant. But for the setup, I cannot say unless I see pictures of the interior.

is funk the smell? cuz im not worried bout that lol
Yeah...but if you are planning on having the lights on at night, you would probably wanna put up a blackout curtain behind your door, so when you open the door to do some maintenance, you won't get that bright burst of light that may attract suspicion...
