bad bud

the other day i was looking through some things in my room and i found some really old weed, so i figured i might as well smoke it. it didnt really even give me a buzz. i didnt know if this was because it was old or if it was just shitty weed. does anyone know if bud goes bad? if it does how long does it take?

It kinda depends on how old the weed was, where it was, at what temps it was usually at, etc etc. Thc breaks down over time if not properly kept. hope this helps.

haha this reminds me.... last summer i was cleaning my room out (i was moving) and i moved the tv off the stand... to find a baggy of sum herb sitting under it. that bag musta been there for a good year LOL. but i rolled it up, smoked it... and regretted it:spew:didint taste good, it didnt smoke good either. oh well:blsmoke:

lol i can imagine that it didnt... the oldest weed i have smoked was sum 2 week old roaches, didnt care for that too much either.

I keep my weed in air tight spice jars and I've been able to keep an 1/8 pretty fresh for almost 5 weeks. By that 4th or 5th week though, you can tell that it's getting there. Still gets you high, but the taste of the smoke is pretty gnarly.

thanks man, i kinda thought it would go bad after a while, i dont think i have kept a bag for more than a week...

you can store long term if cold & airtight but otherwise that shit breaks down and goes stale
