Hello, after along wait i have decided to finally start my grow i just had a sudden thought to save some space for my plants(only 2 of them) to grow since i have only got a 80 by 80 by 100cm grow tent i have got limited space so i thought if i cut two holes in my grow tents floor and raise it up to the rim of my pots so that no light can get in or out and is some what air tight holes with be fitted to the shape and size of my pots. what you think stupid idea? keeping in mind i do have the mat that will not be cut so if i change it one day i wont have two holes in the floor.

seems pretty logical to me. i'd say go for it. a tent that size doesn't weigh much so all you would have to do is just build a subfloor that allows you access underneath to the pots and allows you to walk in the tent. maybe some cinder blocks and a piece of plywood with holes for the plants. they plywood leaning against the rims of the pots would probably keep it pretty air tight.

probably be more efficient if you grew 4 smaller plants. that would use the light better by having a square of 4 small plants. good luck.

love that idea also the subfloor will be good since i need a stable ground for my fans. its all comming together :D
also i might just stay with 2 plants just because this will be my 1st grow. i do have fem seeds so no males and i dont really mind if i get a hermie to much.
