Ok, if it was just transplanted, maybe I'm just used to running them hard with many small bags in succession.

Still, GWE has TONS of good info. I have to credit GWE, and this site for the improvements of my grow technique/ability. My crop last season would not have been half of what it was, if not for the GOOD info I received from these 2 sites.
Well, I'm always up for learning when it comes to cannabis. I'll check it out some more. If I did sound prickish I didn't mean nothin by it.

Sounds like you've killed b4, the extra reading might be the difference.
I planted right in the ground outdoors with bagseed as well and didn't even dig up the dirt. It was more of a science experiment by a monkey. But after seeing all the wonderful buds on here I thought why not. I'm definitely not the greatest but I want to try within my limits(light wallet).

No problem. I didn't take it that way anyway. I just didn't want you to miss out on a great resource.

When it comes to living things that you may not know all that much about, I always advise people to do their research. Somebody buys a "pretty snake", never thinking that it would reach 10 feet long and may need more food than they bargained for.

I don't think anyone here couldn't find SOMETHING about pot that they didn't know before. Everyone learns right up to the point where they die. At least that's my opinion. I promise you that I am still learning and I am an old man lol.

I also feel what you are saying about being restrained by a budget. That's why I have to grow outdoors. Just can't afford the set up for a decent indoor grow. I can't even afford a good grow light, much less anything else. Sooooo... I grow outdoors lol.

Honestly I didn't get that kinda yield last year. I did start late in the season though, which reduced it straight out of the gate. Still, my yield was 4X what a friend got and he has grown far longer than I, but he NEVER did any research at all. I think that he got @ 1 oz/ plant. I got @ 1/4 lb/ plant.

The only difference was with the research that I did. My soil was better for my plants than his was. I trained my plants, he didn't. Etc. Really, the only reason that I got more, was because of better quality of seeds and research.

I hope that this year I will improve that much more, getting an earlier start with top quality seeds.

Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with using bagseed to start with. I ended up getting some sour diesel from my bagseed plant. Lucky for me. At least now I know that I don't like sour diesel lol.

My main obstacle now is figuring out WHEN to start my seeds. I want to start them as early as possible without danger from the weather. Trying to figure out this crazy weather we are having is difficult. Everything else will fall into place after that.

What kind of soil did you use, how many gallons? How did you train? You can read above with the soil in planning on using. If I get the job I applied for I can afford some FFOF or maybe kind soil. I was thinking of FIMming and some LST so they get full coverage. My buddy bought some GSC offline from either attitude or MSNL I can remeber which, but he's giving me some of the freebies so I should have a better shot at growing them later in the season. I'll probably start them indoors and wait till they're maybe a foot and take them out.

Update with pics.

She's really taking off it seems to me, but I'm not 100% sure how big she could have gotten. Also can I top or FIM yet? I don't mind her staying short.

Update with pictures(as usual lol)
Day 27. I started to do an LST a week ago and also topped. Next adventure will be cloning as soon as I figure out where to take them from. I'm deciding to let the main stalk grow more then cutting from there (unless too my stress?) or taking some from the new growth on the bottom once they get 4 nodes? Also am I giving too much nutes? I don't water and feed but every few days.
