Also im re-using my bodged supersoil mix as it looked like my last plant was starting to return to a more healthy colour so we will see what happens with that too fingers crossed.

hopefully will have a better harvest this time round

ok so first try at mainlining its only my second grow, so probs shouldn't be messing with these techniques yet but oh well you live you learn haha

was bending/manipulating one of the new growths, from the top id cut, i was a little rough i think, and snapped it :(
so instead of it being topped for two it now only has one. It should be OK just a bit miss shaped/uneven

Also now transplanted into her final container..... So we will wait and see what happens when she hits the bodged ss mix

peace from the u.k and happy growing :weed:

also made myself a flow through worm bin yesterday :D my own ewc here i come.........
can anyone recommended some good things to feed the little ones apart from the same old cardboard and kitchen scraps
i am sure i have read some where people adding soil amendments such as kelp, oyster shells, alfalfa, azomite/rock dust/sands (this is to help the worms digest in gizzards) seems like id get a good diverse casting with this but dont want to waste amendments. thanks

so updates it looks like it could of hit the botched soil layer as its a lot darker green than before this is the same problem i had with my fi trst grow so it would make sense to say it has hit the soil layer.
i expected problems so i am just using this to learn/experiment

i have been reading up on how to reduce nitrogen in soil and i decided to plant some salad leaves in the pot and see if this will absorb some of the nitrogen

some updated pics note the dark green...and the salad seedlings

all in all its going a 100 x better than my first attempt so far
i just cant wait to try out the ss mix for my next run

really cant get the hang of this bending stems, keep breaking bits, oh well practice makes perfect and all that....

so she was topped for four but now were back to two again

topped her for four again yesterday

shes still looking much better than my first attempt though

salad seedlings are getting bigger and should hopefully start absorbing some nitrogen soon :)

here are some updated shots

some updates

the salads really starting to grow now, only time will tell if it will work or not.

shes a almost dark racing green a sure sign that its roots are now in the botched soil layer now

but growth doesn't seem to of slowed down too much

shes is nicely filling out the pot and only showing minimal signs of burn on a few leaf tips.

so here are some recent pics

nearly ready to put her in 12/12

Anyone know how much this girl stretches?????

it might just be me but the new growth seems to stay a much lusher green for longer
this could be sign of the salad starting to absorb some of the nitrogen i cant really say for sure though I just dont have the experience to tell for certain.

added another cfl of the red spectrum to get her ready for the switch.

heres some pics shes about 6inch from the soil line here
