Ballast Question

Quick question ! Can i use a 400 Watt HPS bulb with a 600 Watt Ballast ?

No. Curious, why would you want too? The 600 watt ballast will use 50% more energy and give 100% more light. Confused. VV

400w are sold at lowes; 600's arent. that's probably why...

I have a digital ballast yes. So nice and quiet. HTG sells good quality stuff.
