Iam to an extent...I want as much bud as possible so what ever I can leave Im planning on it.. I'm going to clone the shit out of a bunch of the plants probably next week or so..

why dont you instead of cloning other branches....just use the ones you are trimming from the lollipopping!!! i mean hell you was just gon throw the trim away anyway!

Well basically that was what I was going to do=)

so what exactly are you doing with your exhaust and co2 now? you just keeping your temps at about 80 and kick on your fan than? are you still running co2 10mins/hour? how many days into 12/12 are you now?

so for now I have it set up the exhaust doesn't turn on till 84 I've been walking in every once in awhile and turning it on though.. co2 once an hour for like 2 min I think it is...I'm only 7days into 12/12... I think the 36hour dark period I put them in helped dramatically though..

ya, i had a cool tube that i wasnt venting just the tube and put a bulb in

the socket with no airflow besides what was coming out the sides. after a

couple days the thing burnt out from too much heat. just something to

think about!



i like the idea that LB suggested- constantly venting your light and have

your exhaust kick on when it exceeds your set temp. the only problem with

that and your setup, IMHO, is the temps might be too cold for your co2 to

make much of a difference. but also that way you will keep more co2 in

the closet because your exhaust fan wont be kicking on as much. i wonder

what would be more efficient in your case....?.. venting the lights would

certainly be better if you added the other 1kw.

good points...Yeah Im not sure what Im goign to do yet I have a feeling in a few weeks it will be getting hotter and the fan will be coming on more often..

ya, im just nervous about your bulb when the fan isnt going. because if its 85F in your room, its got to be very hott inside your closed reflector, the heat is trapped in there!!!! like i said, just something to think about!

what strain is your plants in your avatar? they look KILLER!!!

Those are Purple Kush from my first indoor grow this past fall

they dont get much better than that!!! where do you get those Purple Kush from? i want those same seeds!!!

Ok so quick rundown..So I can remember myself

Strains currently
Grandaddy Purple, Purple Kush, Purple Goo, Sour Diesel. Mazar, The Chronic, Power Plant, Train Wreck, Strawberry Cough, and Dutch Dragon
pick up clones on 2/24..vegged 24hr for 1week
3/2 1000watt veg with nutes 18hr days
3/8 I shut the lights off for 36hrs
3/10 1000w 12/12 flower with nutes
3/15 strawberry cough clones added directly to flower
3/16 I actually got down close enough to notice the plants are already showing flower in just 7days=)sweet


I do my nutes(advanced nutrients) on mondays then wednesday and friday I water with worm casting and a little guano--no water on the weekends
then mondays back to nutes....I think Im going to just do regular water on wednesday some of the plants look like their getting to much nutes..

that purple kush was better than anything I've ever paid for=) I got it from a clone at a bay area dispensary.. I cloned it and grew to more the last grow but had to pull them about a week before they were totally finished their still awesome BUT just not like letting it go the extra week...

first grow was just some seed that popped up in my backyard(my former landlord grew at the house before i moved in and grew there and dumped all the old soil and such out int he back yard..) bad part was the plant got too much light at night time and never reached full potential and also got caterpillars(I had no books or this site)...

Next grow got ambitious went to ahydro store wasted a bunch of money on like 20different nutrient wish I had bought something else=)... etc etc.. found out what equipment I need then bought it all on craigslist.. read the jorge cervantes book like 10times then got some northern lights and the purple kush clones.started them under a 430 in 3g bags and then switched to a 1000w in the middle of that grow I picked up a huge ass hindu skunk mother plant from a local club vegged it for a week or two and pulled about 25clones off it..and then flowered it under a single 1000w because it was so huge..then I started a SOG with the skunk clones and two purple kush clones and two northern lights clones... Much better... I had to harvest early since I decided to move... The hindu skunk was fully mature the pk was close and the northern lights needed another week also.. but SOG I was convinced.. I prunded everything off but just the main colas..Some grew like three big crazy colas though..I never posted pics of any of it though..
