barneys lsd debate (lemon sour diesel)

im growing some at the moment and been doing some research,i know on the barneys farm website they named it lsd for its trippy effect it has when smoked and its a skunk x mazar cross breed,but theres talk of it in high times saying the name lsd is short for *lemon sour diesel*and mentioned in many other places,now has anybody ever smoked both lsd and sour diesal/or grown both strains and can give me some info ....thanks

i seen it said about lemson sour deisel too but on barneys site the say lsd's genetics is skunk x mazar whereas sour deisel comes from the chemo line so unless someones lying about what plants they've been breeding with then they cant be the same

so could this barneys lsd be chemos sour diesal in disguise??and just palmed off as a skunk x mazar??still has anbody out there smoked both strain and how do they differ??

I havnt smoked it. But, if it were Lemon x Sour D. They would charge alot more for it. Everyone wants Sour in their strain, they would def tell u, if it was crossed.

aint smoked the diesel but the high I got off my Barney's LSD was unreal, the taste was really sweet and smooth - I have smoked NY Diesel (not grown by me) and found it very earthy heavy taste, so it was nothing like that, that doesn't really help does it?, but the LSD was not sour or Lemony

I don't know about the "lemon sour deisel" stuff, but I have been noticing the smell in the morning before the lights/fan kick on is kinda earthy/musky with almost a fuel smell. Doesn't have that in the taste after curing...just the musky/earthy part.
Still a real kick ass strain though!!!

Bog's is a different LSD. Barney's is Mazar X Skunk #1. Two completely different strains with the same name.

It's not lemon sour diesel, but it's one hell of a good strain. It's one of our top-shelf strains, and I found a great pheno with only 2 feminized seeds. We grow in organic soil with organic nutes, and the smell of the LSD is outstanding. A strain that you open the jar and just stick your nose in. Here is a pic from my first attempt with it, we have a bunch of clones of this pheno going now. It's strong, it tastes great, it's a decent producer, and it looks awesome.

I got a great Violator Kush strain from Barney's, I'll attach pics of that too. I also just germinated 3 Fem Vanilla Kush seeds from Barney's, and 5 feminized Pineapple Chunk seeds have been shipped and are on the way. I have great luck with Barney's, Greenhouse, and DNA.

yeah?I'd like to explore barney's. heard nothing but good of them. mandala right now, when that's aled in, then some barnies ultra exotic DNA. reccomendations for a newB indoor? outdoor seems pretty straigtforward. plant, water, smoke, but indoor has me a lil worried. weasier in the longrun tho.. no fucking deer, or random hikers, in my basement

also; I've heard it's the high,not the flavor. Lemon sour diesel is what it is and LSD is LSD

I have 3 Red Dragon and 2 LSD from Barneys. They are 30 days into flowering. The LSD seems to be more temperamental, gets stressed more easily than the Red Dragon. One is 5 ft tall from top of pot, the other is 4ft. One of the LSD has the claw real bad and I can't seem to turn it around. I think the LSD will go a couple weeks longer than the Red Dragon. I haven't had any problem with the Red Dragons. The main cola is 12" and getting packed. Lots of strong bud sites all around it. But it will be a couple months before I get to smoke em.

There are multiple LSD strains.

LSD- Skunk x Mazar (Barney's Farm)
LSD- Lifesaver x NYC Diesel (B.O.G.)
and thats the first I've heard of the Lemon Sour Diesel but it wouldn't suprize me.

Sour Diesel DOES NOT come from chemo. It comes from the chemdog line. I know there is a description somewhere saying it's Chemo x Mexican Sativa but that's complete BS.

Barney's LSD is a mixture of Skunk x mazar. If you look in the April 2009 High Times they list another strained named LSD created by another company which is lemon sour diesel. I was lookin at old issues today and read about it and remembered there was a discussion about this

I'm 100% positive barney's farm is selling luke skywalker x diesel hence LSD, no lemon about it.

im smoking on some lemon sour diesel right now and it smells like straight lemons. dosnt look to much like sd though. i also have 6 sd seeds right now that im gonna select a mom and a dad from right now.

I have some LSD currently drying and curing right now...When my girl smelled it the first thing she said was "Lemon!"
I know that its Skunk and Mazar...but it does have a lemon smell to it.

Lol- I remember looking at this thread while I was waiting on my LSD seeds from attitude. I am not a "nose", but I can definitely smell citrus. It smells alot like some auto aks I grew a while back. This shit packs a MUCH better punch though.

Man my lsd also has the claw bad i just cant get it right i just want to toss her out
