barneys pineapple chunk

hi all, new to the site and on my first grow, ive got a pineapple chunk in week 4 of veg led to believe these girls are autoflower should they be showing any signs of budding yet? using 250 hps bulbs on a 18/6 timed set up and ph levels are about spot on from what i researched, she's bushing real well and around 1.5ft tall, just looking for sound advice. :leaf:

No, its not an autoflower. I would get a bigger light for certain. If you plan on growing more than 300 dollars.worth of bud then you might as well buy a six hundred. Just my thoughts. 1 and 1/2 feet tall, better throw her into flower soon, the light you are using doesnt have much distance on it, by the time you are ready to harvest it will prolly be only lighting the cola...but no, it shouldnt be showing signs of budding yet since its not an autoflower and its at 18/6

pineapple chunk is a hybrid that demands a high level of light. It prefers a medium spectrum range between 450-660 red (low K temps) ((redder spectrums)), and will do very well if these needs are catered to. if you are growing one plant, 250W hps should be alright, but if you want the best possible harvest, I would invest in a 400W lamp. It will pay for itself.

Also, these plants tend to turn a lighter color later on; they need more nitrogen than most other hybrids. Advanced Nutrients grow mixed with Rhino Skin should keep your baby growing healthy.

cheers phil, like i said first time grow so didnt expect to get it spot on, so all advice gratefully received, if i start flowering what would you recommend on the lighting cycle 12/12? thanks in advance
