ok i have 4 plants flowering in the basement under a 1000watt hps light the temps at night are 58* and during the "day" it is getting up to about 100* i added more ventilation to the room but it only brought it down to about 85* and i added a heater for the night to bring the temps up to at least 60*all the plants are wilted. i do not have a fan in there witch i need to get, is there a way i can set the light cycle on a fue hours to warm up and then shut it off and let if cool f all day long for the flowering or will that keep them vegging?
with them wilting the way they are are my kids going to survive if i regulate the heat?
I am new at this can you please give me some advice on how to keep my kids flowering

setting it the opposite of daytime light might help with temps, for example on at 6pm off at 6am which will heat up the night time cold and cool off in the daylight heat. Just make sure all windows are covered

I'm not sure you understood completely. If you have your lights on at night, it will keep the temp up. With the lights off during the day you shouldn't have an overheating issue. Therefore turn your lights on at 6pm and off at 6am. If you are already doing this then I"m not exactly sure what to say about your situation other than perhaps your growing area is too small for such a warm light.
